Yeah... dont think I planted them that deep but 1 more popped up today. Will give them some more time before giving up but at 3/7 now. Thinking maybe they are old but they aren't that old. Came direct from BC Bud Depot breeders. hope they work out. Should be fire once they hit flower.

Never again! Got rapid rooters or whatever so I'll. Start the seed there and transfer to my medium once its popped

I thought that too

This last Pop I used one of the Root Plugs to start in, even then I could not resist the urge
to open up the hole with tweezers and check on things :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

EDIT: Thinking about it, the plugs do make it easier to satisfy my curiosity since I know exactly were to

Lol I really am trying to resist the urge to look in there. I'm sure they will eventually come up but if not 3 will work for breading. I'll keep them nice and moist and hopefully they pop up. Actually going to put a cover today and get a fan in there.

Should be easier in the little rooter I think too. I'll keep them in little squares until they pop and then they will go into soil. No more guessing where the seed is and all that. Ive read that some organic soil can digest seeds too and I'm using up docs soil to make space in my apt.

Also got some roots on the clones. the NN will veg and go into the tent while the clones veg in the cloner. They have to revert and then I'll pot then up for breeding. Will have to make a couple different crosses and keep clones of the sunlounger. it's a beast of a plant.

I have done it a few ways But recently lost one so decided to go with the Root Riot plug.
BTW I simply soaked the seed until it sunk (12 hrs) placed in the hole of the Root Riot plug (pointed end up)
and then put the plug directly into a 1 gal starter pot filled with 1st run soil. Worked great
 
Thanks gaz! I just went for a dig and 1 is a no go and 3 looked like they were about to pop. I moved them over to the rooters and we will see. The seeds they sent were not the best to begin with as they looked a bit immature but I'm happy with 3 and should have at least 1 male/female either way. Any more pop will be a bonus. Put them in the rooters and covered them with a bag.

2 clones have roots going those will go for seeds after the NN and also in the breeding tent with NN and the violeta is revegging. Wish I did the to the sluricane but it's ok.

The huckleberry soda pollen I put in the freezer was barely viable. Wont be putting that in the freezer again. Looks like it took as the hairs have turned brown. not a lot bit, still should get some nice seeds. Also have the GDP hit with NN pollen. That thing got totally covered with pollen and the sunlounger looks like it has some seeds too. L

Building up the tents little by little so no cross pollination. the tent in my living room will get a carbon filter and the bedroom tent will get a dust shroom intake and carbon filter exhaust.

Here is everything as of now.
 
I have one of those 12 site cloners I plan on customizing with a new sheet of corrugated plastic to hold 2 6" net pots but you could easily make an effective cloner if you can get hold of a water pump and water spray/mister nozzle tips.
 
Man my clone rates went way up after switching. Cloning in coco worked but I think it was more temperamental. No worry about humidity or heat from the pump, just add some z7 and its almost guaranteed to root.

Those work great, the dewey just replaces the water pump for an air pump to help keep the water cooler.
 
Hey Rich! Looking good in there. Nice roots poppin' out them clones and looks like your new batch of seedlings are off to a good start. :slide: You must be enjoying some of your recent harvests by now, anything you enjoying in particular?

Thank irie! The last harvest has been nice but it's hard to say exactly what I'm smoking is I tossed it all in one bag. I will say this. The haze was a great sativa. Really got you up and moving and made it hard to sleep. The other one was Sluricane. Wow that's one hell of a strain. I could tell what it was bc it was just so good. I'll be looking into buying some more of that for sure. Wish I revegged it. Getting in some exotic strawberries and cream and think that might be a good combo.

Hey Preston welcome into my little micro grow. It's slow going now but it should pick up in a few weeks. Got a couple plants seeded and decided I really enjoy making seeds and running sog. So I'm in the process now of upgrading my intake and exhaust. The veg tent will get a 4" fan and carbon scrubber to keep free pollen from getting everywhere and my flower tent is getting the dust shroom for intake to hopefully avoid pollinating my flower tent.

Anyways, you came in at a perfect time. I hope to move my clones to soil soon and hopefully I can put the sunlounger clones in with NN. A few of each strain will go into the veg tent for breeding.
