I wonder if it's available in Canada. I'll check in a bit. It's $30 for a potency test, and $60 for a full cannabinoid panel at a lab I found here in Canada. There's a Health Canada listing of authorized labs you can browse, and you can find the prices on their websites. Some of them only deal with LPs, and specialize in mass testing, and for prohibited substances/pesticides etc.Hey Mel, she's chugging along great sure she's gonna look nice in flower....
So I saw above a few of you want to test your products... And Ive also seen it can be Hela expensive... But I had the same Idea so I've been researching it for a bit.. and I found a fairly cheap at home that contains 16-20 test per box for about $120, which is much better than the $400-$1500 I saw for digital kits. If it works idk... But it's worth it to look at if your going to be growing consistently.
Thanks!
I don't usually defoliate, so I'll probably just be pulling leaves below the canopy that aren't getting any light. She's getting enough nutrients from the MC and Epsom, so it shouldn't hurt anything. If I had been keeping the light in the proper range I would've been able to train her top branches without pulling the fans at those nodes, but I was worried about her getting too stretched out, so I kept it as close as I could. In the future I'll give the light a few more cm, let them get a bit taller.
I'm getting the bud tested when she's done. Usually I just go for a simple potency analysis, since it's cheaper, and shows what I'm mainly interested in, but I'll spring for a full cannabinoid panel this time. Since it's only one plant it'll be $60, so that's not too bad. Be good to know what the ratio is. I just have to send in 1-2g to get it done.
If not available in Canada it's ok...as my state is the Ontario/Niagra border and I've been itching for a road trip lolI wonder if it's available in Canada. I'll check in a bit. The one I found deals with craft producers and home growers, so their rates are reasonable and they only require 1-2g for the tests.
Over time however, those TLC plate tests probably come to a lot less cost.
Thanks for posting this!
Sent.Could you please PM me the website of the lab you're using? I want to test some of my stuff, too. I looked at the Health Canada list and didn't get past the As.
@BakedARea has a tcheck, which I'm totally envious of.
I just looked at the tcheck. $280 USD is a bit steep. I suppose it would pay for itself over time, depending on how often you need stuff tested, but I wonder how long it would last.Could you please PM me the website of the lab you're using? Thanks!Sweet a couple extra colas from the last post woohoo. Good job mel
Do you tuck your leaves under new growth? That helps hide the healthy but unsightly leaves. Thanks!
I'll finally be able to cover that yellow leaf right near the centre of the canopy!
I do tuck fans that are blocking lower growth I want to encourage. Like lower shoots I want to bring up to the canopy. I like to keep them there until they start to use more energy than they produce, then the plant takes care of them.Do you tuck your leaves under new growth? Thanks! She's looking beautiful! Happy flipping!
