Hmm. 2 redemption, 5 classics.
I can add some Epsom salts to the feed, it wouldn't be the first time.
If it's ph it would be the first time for that. I'll grab my neighbour's pH pen and check the feed just to eliminate that variable.
Early in the grow I had planned to use a mix of compost and the promix organic veg & herb potting soil, but when I started having the issue with Dolores I left the compost out when transplanting, so it's a well buffered medium. It's also the remains of a bag I used this summer, so I really can't see that being the issue.
The vpd is something I've never been able to control. Going into winter here the air is usually dry, between 30 and 40%, and that helps dry out the pots.
I'll up the speed of the exhaust fan. I'm going to have to open it up for some maintenance soon. Maybe I'll ask for a new one for Xmas, lol.
Well, we'll see what's going on when I turn the light on this evening.

Day 42
Flip 4
I'm feeling a bit better now that I can see the plants. I think Dolores needs more P and Delilah needs more Mag.
I'll be upping both of those with the next feed.

Here's another teaser for what's coming,

Cold darkness periods can also bring it on I seem to remember
Yeah, when it's below 14C (I think) the plant's ability to uptake P goes down until it stops entirely. The tent is only getting down to about 20C right now. Really windy and cold days will be coming up soon, where it'll be getting down to 17C and sometimes a little bit lower. I have 2 heat mats in there under a silicone mat for days where it really gets cold.
Looking like Christmas is coming early at the Hobbes household
There's more coming soon!

I have some good news coming in the next few days, so I have a question for you guys. Which of these words sounds better to you: Redemption, Classics, or Power?

For what it's worth, I like Redemption best and then Classics. Power is too vague. Of course, I have no idea what you'll be using them for but that's my two cents' worth.

Day 43
Flip 5
Tomorrow evening I'll be moving the plants into the new tent. It'll be temporary, but it should help for a bit.
I'll be starting a sponsored journal with the XS 2000 for @ViparSpectra in a little more than a week.
There will be enough space in the new tent for the extra plants I have in the 60x60cm tent without affecting airflow.
The question I asked earlier helped me choose which seeds I'll be growing. I'll leave that for the beginning of the new journal. Until then I'll be able to give these two girls some space.

Boron def. uv from the light. Hey Mel Just going over my notes and if you’re going to fulvic May be the way for you to go. Its more soluble in a slightly acidic ph . Below 6.5 .. Humic likes a more alkaline
Thanks, I think they're recovering some. The stems at the very top are green again, and now that I've upped the airflow with the exhaust fan they seem happier.
We'll see if the vacation in the new tent does them some good.
Your going to need a bigger basement
Lol, the funny part is that this one actually will be in the basement!
For what it's worth, I like Redemption best and then Classics. Power is too vague. Of course, I have no idea what you'll be using them for but that's my two cents' worth.
I have 6 strains I'd like to try, all about equally. They can be sorted into 3 categories. Two are more classic strains, as in they're older, but still good ones. Two have some of the highest potential THC levels of any of the seeds I have, and two are strains I've grown before, but screwed up.
I'll be growing the seeds in the new sponsored journal.
On the ph thing Mel I am only guessing. I simply dont know enough about synthetics.
Thanks Gee, I'm really guessing myself. I have no idea why Dolores needs such high levels of P. There should also be enough Mag, but it's not the first time I've needed to add more.
Looks like you've got yourself a very small room!
Lol, I'm not going to call it a room unless I can lie down in it!
It's twice the size of my current tent, and it'll be down in the basement, which is finished, and is the coolest area in the house in the summer, and the warmest in the winter. It shouldn't get below 23C in the tent, and the floor has a subfloor, and laminate over the concrete, so it doesn't get cold at all.
The noise of the fan will also be less of an issue, although it has started to rattle a bit when I switch it off as it spins down to a stop.
