Of course I had to look up maltodextrin. It seems like some sketchy stuff that may not serve one well.

Why that? Just asking.

All Caught up and following along for the ride.
They are looking recovered and after the up pot look very nice.
Excited to see these finish.
Glad to have you!

I saw a few videos about how to make and use it. I know bodybuilders use it for quick energy, but it's a much smaller dose than they're taking as far as I know.
I thought I read that it wasn't any worse for you than sugar?

You know, I did make some infused maltodextrin for drinks. It would probably be really good in some hot chocolate or cocoa!
Haha! Before learning to make gummies with my canna coconut oil, we'd mix a spoon of oil into a cup of cocoa.

Day 33
Delilah was ready a few days ago, and Dolores could have stayed in the 1 gallon pot a while longer, but her roots are developed enough that she should handle the transplant without any problems.
Dolores is hungry though. She seems to need a stronger concentration of nutes than Delilah. I'll be upping the strength of the nutes I'm giving them next feeding.

I haven't watered them in yet, but I will with the last of the regular strength nutes.

I wouldn't want to be greedy :D

Have a great evening!
That looks like a great big bag of coco, my favorite. :thumb:
Nice work Amigo, girls look great.
Hope your doing well.
Take care my friend. :high-five:

Day 34
I'm hoping the transplant to fresh soil and upping the nutes clears up whatever is affecting Dolores. It's weird how it slows down and then speeds up again.
These leaves are crispy, so I'll be trimming them off, but I wanted to show what's happening. It looks a lot like a lack of P, but there's plenty in the Remo veg schedule, and Delilah isn't affected.
Ahh well. We'll see how things go in the next few days.

That's probably a better way to do it!
Nice roots Mel!
Thanks Carmen!

Happy Thanksgiving Mel! Enjoy your day today!!

Thanks Krissi!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Both roots look good to move to me! Congrats on the upcans. :thumb:
Thanks Shed!

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans here!
Have a great day!

Day 35
The weed my neighbour grew from the seeds I started for him must have been pretty good, because he decided to have all his grass replaced with artificial turf, and this is the result.

Getting back to growing though, things are pretty much the same as yesterday. I decided to up the strength of the nutes to water the plants into their new pots, rather than wait for their next feeding. I'm hoping to see some results in the next couple of days.

Plants are looking better by the day Mel!

Your neighbor must have been missing a lot of putts lately. :)

Day 36
Dolores is slightly greener today, so I'm feeling a bit better. Although the black areas are still appearing on some of her upper leaves, they aren't spreading as fast. They also don't appear to spread onto the leaves of the side branches attached to the node of fan leaves that were affected after the leaf is removed/falls off.

Thanks GDB!
Or he just loves mini-put that much!
Looking good in there Mel. :high-five:
Thanks GG!

Hey Mel, sorry if i missed it but you still using Remo nutes?
Yes. I've increased the dosage though. 2.5ml/L instead of 2.
I'm going to be running out a bit sooner, but the flower numbers are pretty close to MC, so I figure I can wing it for a week or two if I need to.

Day 37
There's a garlicky scent in there now when I open the tent. I'm not sure who's responsible, but I like it.
Delilah has continued to have longer internodal spacing than Dolores, so next time I take them out of the tent for watering I'm going to switch their placement. I suspect Delilah will stretch more than Dolores, and I want better access if I have to raise Dolores up.

Day 38
So, looking at the height of Delilah, it's time to flip. Tomorrow will be their first uninterrupted 12 hours of dark.
My tent is pretty tall, but with the carbon filter up there I don't have as much room as I would like to let them grow up.
I'm also not sure how much they're going to stretch. Both strains have some sativa genetics in them.

Delilah and Dolores - what beautiful names and plants :thumb: I love giving names too!
Thanks Al!
@HashGirl came up with Delilah, and I decided I liked Dolores when I was going through women's names that start with D in my head. You have any girls growing right now?

Was it Dolores for Dolores Claiborne? Happy flipping Mel :)
Thanks Carmen!
You know, until now I didn't know there was a book by that name!
