Mdlroad Outdoor Desert Grow

It was one of the worst i can remeber. There are signals for a good one this year, fingers crossed. Dew points touching 80, bet you cant wait!
Same. The desert out here looks like shit. Everything is brown and dry. Didn’t get any wildflowers this spring, the ocotillo are dying, and ironwoods are dropping branches everywhere. I’m hoping for some rain any time now!

OK today is May 18th desert darlings at 63 days outdoors 70 from sprout. 1st up the gorilla glue. Buds have plumped up and getting dense trichomes are almost totally cloudy very little clear still no amber. However I do believe she'll be ready by next week for a total of 77 days sprout till harvest.

Looks pretty frosty! Still a bit early for my taste but I’m funny about that. If I have an abundance then I like staggered harvest but everyone’s goals are unique
That's my thinking. I still see little or no amber. I learned on 1st grow I like a little amber not much. I'm thinking another 4 or 5 days. Just in time to beat the return of the heat. Only 81° today that's way below avg nice.

Plants are looking great, loving the frost on the GG. I also learned from my first grow to watch the ambers on the calyxes not the sugar leaves. Cut a bit too early and the high was definitely heady but also a bit too clear. Just a touch of amber would have been great. Hard to see from the pics but I'd give more time.

I'm with you. My 1st grow I had to wait till both plants were ready. So 1 had more amber and you can tell the difference. I've got the time I never thought growing would test my patience so much and I'm a patient man. Thanks for tip on watching calyxes.

Mmm...no mosquitoes, no humidity...and plenty of succulents. Also pretty cannabis!
Also massive heat from early June till late Sept 100°+ everyday. Up to and including 120°. Avg high in July and August 108°. Plus when monsoon comes we do get humidity but not like east coast. I'm originally from North Carolina had to drench in insect repellent to mow the yard.

Oh yeah...I spent several years in Virginia on the Potomac not as bad as NC but still gross in the summers. I love the East Coast, tho. Remind me, you're in the Sonoran?

Just a quick peak at my outdoor cream auto. She's been a slow grower and looks small but the cola's are stacked.

Is it Tuesday? Yep had to be sure. My gg auto is very very close to chop. Cream girl has a ways to go. This leads me to a couple questions. 1st does 48hrs of dark before chop really help with terpines and trichome production or is that a bro science thing. 2nd and more important since these girls have been outside what type of solution is recommended to wash buds before drying? TY in advance
