Well it's Wednesday May 5th. I woke up this morning and I remembered the most important thing. Our wedding anniversary but then I got the feeling I'm forgetting something. Then it dawned on me I didn't do Tuesday update on outdoor girls. Monday I top dressed with Geoflora bloom. It's been 2 weeks. This morning I watered with recharge and 20ml/gal terpinator. The scraggly looking gorilla glue hanging in there. When I topped her she went to flower and explosive stretch. GG from my 1st indoor grow did the same thing and ended up not so good. Anyway I also topped the creme auto it stunted her for a few days and she went to flower a full 2 weeks after the gg. She's a happy camper stretching nicely like a good girl. The buds on gg continue to plump up can't go by pistils in the desert sun and wind. She is getting frosty and I don't see any amber. The cream girl not showing any frost yet but buds are looking good. Tuesday was day 56 from sprout 49 days in the sun. Just gotta keep em watered and fed and hope the desert weather cooperates . Which I doubt.Well now. We had a water from the sky yesterday amounted to an amazing .04 of an inch. I'm being sarcastic. It's now a full 42 days in the sun 49 from sprout. The tall scraggly gg's buds are slowly plumping up and getting frosty. IDK if it was the abrupt change in weather or what but I could sure tell a difference in how frosty she was this morning.
The cream girl short and stout a full 2 weeks behind the gg in flower. Different strokes for different strains I guess. She is a happy camper full of buds. Something tells me I'm really gonna like the cream maybe because she's such a pretty girl. The rain yesterday not enough to change watering habits. So they got a drink this morning with terpinator in the mix. I hope it does it's thing. Also there's something about the early morning sun as it reaches the plants. I'm also happy with Geoflora nutes not a single issue. They were given full dose of bloom last Monday.

Nope sure can’t. Mine dried up long before my buds were ready.can't go by pistils in the desert sun
I topped the cream a few days later she didn't react like that but both gg's did and from different sourcesNope sure can’t. Mine dried up long before my buds were ready.
So the GG went into flower as soon as you topped? I wonder if the stress pushed it into flower early, or it was just it’s time to flower and it didn’t have enough time to recover after topping. I hope it turns out better than the indoor one if you say it wasn’t good.
That’s interesting. Do you have any more of the GG seeds? Maybe try LST next time and no topping? Experiment a little?I topped the cream a few days later she didn't react like that but both gg's did and from different sources
I answered don't know if I helped. I'm not gonna attempt summer grow.Hey Mdl, would you mind taking a look at one from the faq page? This might be right up your alley. See post #14 from Imyomama. Here’s link Desert grower needs help
Not gonna grow anymore outdoors. Gonna experiment with current indoor growThat’s interesting. Do you have any more of the GH seeds? Maybe try LST next time and no topping? Experiment a little?
Ahh the mountains pretty place to beWow, your girls are lovely! I don't know of I'd be brave right to try an outdoor desert grow lol.
Also, saw you're originally from North Carolina! I'm currently living in WNC, though only for a couple more months, sadly. Husband is transferring to Louisiana for work in July.

Tuesday May 11th. The desert girls are 63 days from sprout 56 in the sun. The Gorilla Glue is very frosty pics don't show it well. The buds are beginning to get dense. Checking tricks I see little to no amber but I do believe the GG will be ready in 10 to 11 weeks outdoors seems to have made a difference in maturity at least with this one. On the other hand the cream is progressing much slower. She's just now beginning to show tricks and has handled the desert conditions much better. The only difference is strain the Cream is Indica dominate. So I'm wondering if Indica strains are more suited for these conditions. I did top dress and water with Geoflora bloom. I can tell growing autos I'll use up the bloom nutes much faster autos not in veg for long. My 2x2 tent has arrived which for the moment will be used for drying. My 2x4 is occupied for awhile. It was the only solution to plants ready to harvest while 2x4 in use. Anywaysawatchawho pics from this morning. Smile and enjoy the dayWell it's Wednesday May 5th.
