McLoadie's Third Grow Journal

Happy Weednesday to ya MC Nice recipe Going to try that. coming at you... :thanks:

Good weednesday to you Mc and Young Miss Loadie:circle-of-love:
You too Jeff:)

I'll just do my update while I'm here. I wwanna break these plants sooooo bad!, but, I'm gonna hold off a little while and let the recent topping grow out a bit. We have rapid growth and I'm gonna try ta keep it that way! I'm being real conservative with the water, the ten gallons are only getting 4 cups! I'll increase it as I see fit. The plants don't droop when I give them minimal amounts of water. They are almost completely recovered from their ailments......the cuts are almost ready, however, IDK if I'm gonna get 18 of em. We'll see....pics tomorrow! I applied the tea, and these plants are getting two dry days between water.:cheer::circle-of-love:

I may just be that someone, Mc... :high-five:

OK rico, I'll download the pics and get em up, I like to see everyones, technique and procedure....it's remedial training. If every other industry does remedial training then we should too. If I ever quit learning I hope to fall over dead! To all the newbs, you know we watch you guys so closely, you bring new ideas to the table that we can incorporate into our routines..............and we all try to elevate the sport! Be back soon!

Here we go, this is the aerocloner cleaned and disassembled, I made this after s1ingblades model, with a couple of alterations we will discuss when we come to em.

This is the Mcarea, under the diy walmart light. My first light, I grew 3 shitty crops under it. It works great for veg, but crappy for flower, it consists of 8 2ft. walmart grow lights, one is burned out...the bulbs are more than the whole light!

Here's the res with ten gallons of tap water in it.
0041253.JPG
manifold and pump installed.
0051194.JPG
Airstone in place.
0061040.JPG
POS left out a photo of the skirt, anyway, the skirt goes over the manifold and into the water. The airhose and cord go through the humidity hole, and connect to the pump, don't plug the fuc-er in yet or you'll have water everywhere! HEHE!
008906.JPG
Install ALL of the collars, or pucks if you will, and now you can plug in the pump. So it's running as it normally would, and when you put the cuts in you will notice if a site isn't getting wet. It dosen't take alot of water at the sites, if the puck is wet when you put a cut in it...it's wet enough!
009808.JPG
I add 2 teaspoons of hormex rooting hormone, this shit is full of nice things like b-12, iba...ect., go look it up!
010746.JPG
Bring the victims in right next to where you're going to be working, it dosen't help to cover their eyes....they already know they're screwed!...LOL
011639.JPG
I take 1 puck out and cover the hole with that cup, it keeps water from going everywhere.
012569.JPG
Find a nice place to take a cutting and cut it off. I don't trip on cuts...I just cut the fuc-er off, I have found no difference in how you take em, I DO like to try to get a node near the cut, but they will root anywhere, and with that hormone roots come out the top of the pucks sometimes.
013543.JPG
Trim it down til it looks something like this, I leave 1 set of leaves...and the meristem of course. We cut the leaves back like that to eliminate stomata that are located on the undersides of the leaves, this is where transpiration happens, and we're trying to minimize that cuz their ability to take up water has just been greatly reduced by the fact that they no longer have a root system.

A picture is missing of me putting a cut in a puck, just imagine me doin it and stickin it back in the hole in the lid.
017364.JPG
I mist em with a very dilute solution of dr earth liquid concentrate 3-3-3. I have had healthier plants since I started doing this. The triple 3 has micronutrients in it also.

Put the thermometer and hygrometer in, set the lid on, and FORGET IT, come back in ten days and you have rooted cuts!.

If you go back into my second grow journal there are alot of references to the aerocloner.........how I made it, I will mention that I incorporated a coupla ideas I had into the design. I made the two humidity holes at either end of the lid, this allows moisture to rise into the dome and the humidity runs at around 90%. I also put a hole in the dome, for some circulation.........if I cover that vent hole it will rain in the dome. That's it, feel free to ask any questions.:circle-of-love:

another incredible setup mcloadie. that rig will produce roots the fastest out of any method. when do you think youll get some shoots?

aero cloner does work great, I like kiss
bubble cloner air, water, no water pump heating up the water
but your aero cloner doesn't look diy so much so good job:thumb:

I use a moonsign thing for when to plant its kinda like a farmers almanac and ill agree in ten days a good day to plant up till august 14th
