Wow...5 times what I'm givin! Can I come see your journal?

Sure you can, all are welcome, Hash Hounds Brixperiment with Doc's Kit

I am using 7 gal fabric pots.

The first 3 weeks veg they only got watered once a week letting them dry out a bit to let the roots search and get big as Doc instructed.

In flower they have been getting plain water mid week, then TEA and ENERGY on the weekend.

The last watering I even plugged up the drain hole in the room and watered as usual, then filled the bottom of the shower and and let them soak for a while and absorb more if they wanted to, then I drained it.

The Promix BX with added perlite is a nice mix. I usually take out the plants on the weekend to inspect and use one of those 3 pronged little garden hand rakes to poke a few holes in the dirt then water. It really doesn't need it since it never forms a hard crust as it dries out like some of the other soils I have used. But I figure it is better than just pouring the water in. I don't want any water that pools on the top that hasn't sunk in yet oozing out the fabric pot sides.

I'm watering every third day, I've been givin them a quart right now, feed, water water. I do the same in cultivating the tops of the pots, the soil I use dosen't compact either. I WILL start giving em more water as they progress, I just measured out 2 quarts in my watering can thingy so I'm ready when they are. My plants are perfectly healthy so I think I'm good right now, I don't mind watering so often, it seems to give me a little more control...LOL...if that's what ya call it......if I see an issue, I don't have to wait so lomg for the soil to dry out so I can treat it.

Hey i thought i peek in here :)

Nice clean 'garden' - and great plants too, looks like everything is to their liking..
How i envy your temps lol
Will you flip soon? I'm a flipmaniac, hihi.

Regarding watering - i should only let them dry out in the beginning then? I always waited until they dry out well and leaves start to look a bit sad, maybe i shouldn't have done that? I'm really afraid of overwatering to be honest even though my soil drains quite well.

Best wishes for the grow anyway :)
