McBudz - Twilight, Great White Shark, Master Kush - 2009

Looked kinda like a Ridley Scott movie set, pix with two tents and plants. Two major reasons ventures fail: inadaquite finance, inadaquite experience. You're not missing anything, your bold play will repay bonus return. GH air pump too much for one clone machine, see what small tank aquarium fans love. I throttle my 4" Can fan with a ceiling fan speed slide- cheap & slick, but that big mutha of yours might not tame so easy.

Thanks you all :)

Day 47:

GWS:

This one kind of reminds of of the Disney Castle at Magic Kingdom ;)

The BS clone / mom I threw in to replace the herm twilight.. 18 days in..

IMG_26361.JPG

This one is not impressing me at all. I tried an experiment and put 2 clones in 1 bucket, no lst, just let go naturally. has lots of small nice buds but its not going to yield much.

MK and its 1 TON colas. I have to support from the ceiling and use bamboo steaks. One cola buckled under its own weight. Stem just creased and fell over. Cola seemed to not be negatively impacted. Hearty plants I tell yeah.

Thanks for stopping by :)

nice plants man. are you going to use a 12 or 18 pot ebb and flow system? in your dr150 tent when the lights are on do you have your tent open for better cooling or do you keep it close becuase i keep my tent open for cooling.

I no longer have the dr150w. But I ru the new dr240w the same way I do this pretty much...

I keep the doors and screened vents closed. I have 2 honeywell turbo fans as intakes. 1 propped on on the left outside of the tent blowing into the tent through the duct port. The other setting on the tents roof place over the duct port there blowing into the tent. The 449 CFM vortex exhausts the hot air out through the filter and lights then to the outside through my window.

There is actually positive air pressure in the tent!! the 2 turbo fans from target push more air in then the vortex sucks out causing a bulged effect on the tent. Which is nice since it gives a few more inches of space mid tent where the canopy is fullest. Honeywell Turbo I think are 20 each and have been a nice little investment as far as I'm concerned.

I don't leave the doors open unless i'm in there. This helps reduce the risk of critters (my dog) and such from getting in there.

I find the room the tent is in heats up more with the door open from the radiant heat coming off the lights and reflected light from the tent walls.

Fans.. ignore the board it serves no purpose.. from the old dr150w setup..

The dr240w actually uses 8 inch duct socks so the turbo fan works even better. its about 7 inchs in diameter

Dang McB, you have some serious cola-growage going on in there. That one does remind me of the Disney Castle!! lol I bet they come in a touch under a ton. But who knows with your skills!! Seriously, your grow pics could be GHS advertising pics
IMG_2634.JPG
are you kidding me??, thats insanely perfect!!:adore::adore: Shoot......, I'm sold.
I picked up a few of those same fans last summer, and I have to agree with you they pack a lot of bang for the buck. I actually have two other fans that are a little over twice that price that don't perform nearly as well and are in a pile in the corner. lol

Thanks fly! You know if you flip that cloa around it sort of looks like Michigan. That would make a sweet Welcome to Michigan sign if I should say so. :)

I was thinking about 18, only have the 12 right now..

I plan to grow right from clone so I really need to see how the clones fill out. I dont want to over stuff the tent and end up with a lot of light airy lower bud that didnt get any light. I probably stay with the 12 for the 1st round and see how it goes from there.

Looking very good! and i read that you said that the box heats up alot more when you leave the door open? is this true? if so i have noticed the same when i leave the door close less heat but when i leave it open with 2 fans more heat why is that?

the walls of the DR block 95% of thermal radiation according to the mfg. so with the doors zipped up you keep that thermal energy contained and it doesnt heat up the rest of the surrounding room. Also with the right ventilation setup you create the proper air flow through the tent.

Such a beautiful garden you have Sir Stinky... It is good be back in forum and realize where a month went on those waves I was ridin on... :surf:
Great job on the Positive Pressure and increase of intake.
They do like a lot of fresh air.

Job well done Mc.

Thank you everyone.. Here we go day 56. The three gals will be getting the chop on Sunday And the 4th plant still has a few weeks to go..

Here is a pic of a twilight that got snapped in half. :( I made a brace out of 3/8 inch RO line.. We'll see if it helps
