Like with anything it takes getting used to. I'm sure I'm still doing some things the hard way. I'm starting to get used to it. I have the free version. I wonder how the pro version compares feature wise.

Sure thing bud. Got 4 moms in the dirt sprouting now.

Went to the hydro store on Monday and Picked up a gallon of olivia's solution, 4 oz gel, 1 gallon each of flora micro/gro/bloom, clearex, and cal-mag+, also 1 50l bag of hydroton. I know I need another but only had 300 cash on me at the time. Dont need it right away So'll i'll go back before its time.

Yeah man been planning it since before the new year. I've purchased a lot of the stuff months ago like constant meter.. high flow RO merlin filter... big money things that dont really have a direct impact on the grow but are highly recommended and helpful.

I think the middle 60-70% of the garden is going to get some really nice light where the three over lap. So I'm think once a week or so doing a rotation since you can easliy lift the inner pot of each site out and move to a different location. So like the guy on the street corner shuffling the 3 walnut shell around hiding the pea, I'll be doing the same to get better light distribution.

Or... find a 7.5 foot light move that will move 3 lights for me.

Or...

fix the 2 end lights and put the middle one on a short mover..

I'll see how the growing goes first. The 95% reflectivity of the SJ Dark Rooms really helps those colas that are out in the margins.


Also now the hydro setup it is easier for me to play with SOG since I dont have to take pots out to drain saucers and crap.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot. My GH air pump that came with with a multi kit pumps a lot of air on only 8w. Rides on rubber pretty quiet. I don't use all the air, and must muffle the bleed off through a several foot long empty air line. Was noisy till I figured that one. Enough air to sweeten several lowrise DWC tubs.

Got em moved over to the new 4 x 8 foot tent. Dont have the camera this weekend but snapped a couple shots in mid build... The plants are lost in there now. Had to stake the MK up. the colas bent over to the floor! Must be the master gumbi kush strain.. lol Will fill it up soon enough, with healthy plants hopefully. Kinda scared about jumping into the deep end of hydro.

Your new tent looks sweet, and she ^ is looking just wonderful. At first I was a little bummed about your switch to hydro to be honest with you, as your one of my soil guru's; but now I am getting exited as I think you will do great and I look forward to watching the transition.

The smaller tent DR150W has been removed and is being donated to a greater 420 cause Now its just the DR240W pushed back into its spot. My spare room is now officially maxed out. Something is going to have to leave before more stuff can come in. I'm running out of room to work. Hopefully I'll need less room to work with the hydro. I just need a path cleared to the res and to my little mom/veg closet.


Have new 6 inch fan and filter coming. Once I have that I'll be able to close the circuit for the reflectors (pull air from outside over the lights then send right back out) And scrub the air with the filter(s) at the same time exchanging the air inside the tent. Hopefully this helps with the summer heat. If I leave it the way it is now I'll be pulling my air conditioning out of the house at 449 CFM .. now that doesnt help manage heat very well
