McBudz - Twilight, Great White Shark, Master Kush - 2009

Is the yield what you expected, or, as stated by the seed supplier?
THe plants look awesomely happy and I am curious to know your thoughts on claimed yields.
It is going to be a great early fall for you!!

Nice harvest, McBudz!!

So your flush will begin around day 52? How many days do you estimate before you harvest? A 60 day flowering cycle would give you 6 harvests a year.

That's where I want to be. :smokin2:

It is about what I expected. I usually see about 3-5oz per 5 gallon soil plant. Not sure what the supplier says but I usually don't put too much stock into it as it is defendant on a lot of things. Not sure about the hydro now since I flower earlier to fit more smaller plants into the area. We'll see in a few weeks. :)

Nice McBudz. Those is one Big Damn cola.

Yes shes a monster, camera doesnt really do it justice.

Nice harvest, McBudz!!

Actually I'll do a harvest every 30 days with the staggered setup I use now. I have a cloning area, veg area, and the 8x4 tent with 2 seperate ebb and grow systems. 1 system for each 4x4 area. The tent is always 12/12. Cloning takes about 10-14 days until I go to veg. Then veg for about 2-3 weeks. Then replace what was just harvested. Now I'm just trying to tweak the setup until I can get 1.5 pounds per side plus or minus. Each side has 8 sites now. I may be able to push to 10 or more. Next go around I'm going to try to fit 12 and see what I can get. If its too much I'll back down to 10. Maybe try a little less veg time. I want a sea of fat colas. The harvest next week will tell me where I stand with my per side goal.

just got here and wow I have been missing out great job man nice lil setup good SH!T +Reps and can you tel lme a little more about cal mag and wha tyou like about it

I use RO water so I use cal-mag through to supplement the loss in micro nutes usually found in the tap water.

It also adds a bit of N which helps maintain green leaves through most of flowering. It delays the yellow transition by about 3-4 weeks.

Sorry McBudz, I wasn't very clear with my question. Say a grower has room for 6 plants in their flower area and the strain has a 60 day flower cycle. You can harvest 6 plants every 2 months, or stagger to harvest 3 plants every month or even stagger in such a way to harvest 1 plant every 10 days but it all amounts to the same thing, in terms of yield.

The key factor is the number of flowering days required for the plant to reach maturity.

You mentioned you were ready to start flushing at ~52 days and I was just wondering what your flowering cycle was? I want to grow strains that take no more than 60 days to mature, giving me 6 "full" harvests per year.

Yeah your right bud all adds up to the same in the end. I just have it sliced up to 1 per month ( I friggin hate trimming so many plants at once lol)

So yeah anyways.. GWS and MK have both been 60 day cycles +/-

Plus with hydro I like not to put all my eggs in one res ;)

looks amazing dude nothing else i can really say

Thank you kindly sir.. :)

Did that nifty camera take all the wrinkles and warts out of your garden? I sure don't see any, just lush happy growth and gator bite size colas.
+rep the magic camera

I wish ot were magic. I am fighting issues on the new side to the left. I had a root problem during veg were the roots grew out of the pots and and sat in the thin puddle that sits in the table and I am fighting pythium I beleive. Looks like my second plant is about to go in the garbage. Hopefully the other 6 hold strong..

Late to the party but happy to have found my way ;)

Thanks for stopping by brother ;)

Pics look good.
Your clones look as if they were grown from seed; very healthy!
Wish I could smell your flower room. Looks delicious!
Big mama looks very healthy, too. + reps

Thanks.. These clones do look pretty good. Think I have the magic recipe for the ezcloner.. olivia's gel, clonex solution, transplant as soon as the roots are 4-6 inches into 600ppm grow/boost BC series nutes. The mom plant is a very hearty plant and is making a great mother. I only feed her once in while with grow big and cal-mag+. The soil has ff starter mix fert mixed in..

the size of your colas are astonishing. how long is the longest bud? if i could only put 80 of those in my volks. lol.

The largest cola is about 22 inches or so depending on where you judge the end/beginning.
