Maxxi's - Second Grow - 600W - Tent

I think everyone is going to argue about the size of the fan, but it needs to be able to replace the air in the tent space a few times a minute or better... if you're going just the cooltube route, you'll just hook the end of the cooltube to your exhaust vent where the carbon filter is now, then attach the carbon filter to the other end of the cooltube... you're basically just adding the heat into the already running carbon scrubber/air exchanger system that way.... basically plugging the light into the middle of the already closed circuit/loop.

Yep, carbon filter gets ducted to one side of the cooltube, the exhaust vent into the other, so the carbon filter continues working as normal, but now you're venting the heat from the light... cheaper than just venting the light and tent/scrubber separately. Not to mention, you only need 1 or 2 vents in the tent this way, the other, you need 3 min and 4 would be better.

Oh hahaha fuck too high wasnt thinking about conecting the filter too the light my bad hahahaha. i was over complicating your solution is much better hahaha. Aight so the cheapest cooltube at the store down the road is 39 euros. Cooltubes - Hanf & Hanf - Headshop - Growshop - Smartshop - Hanfshop - Hanfstecklinge - Hanfsamen. There are other ones, the cool star with the reflective hood looks pretty cool but will the 39 euro one do? i could kinda find a way to attach the other hood on top of the tube for better downward reflection. Thanks Rune Reps when i can give them again :p Might be the best solution to my problem atm!

Peace:peace:

:bump: sorry just had too. good night another night 5am
Peace:peace:

good morning and a fine Skunkday Maxxi :)

I'd be better off if I switched my time on the flower room from noon - midnight, which is what it is now, to something like 10pm - 10am, but a cooltube will solve a lot of the heat issues for you :) Hope your day's going well Maxxi :Namaste:

You know I just realized a few hours ago that I don't really have heat issues at night when the lights on its mainly when the lights off during the day that its too hot so a cool tube wouldn't solve that. We moved the room around a bit so that the intake fan is right on the opening side of the tent and no more ducting means full power again. Going to check the temps in a few hours before bed to see what's up.

That makes sense... I use ducting, but it's 6" and it has no obstuctions... I sometimes use the spare fan to blow cooler air into the duct's outside opening.. since doing that, if the tent is closed, my temps don't get above 87*f or so, if I open the tent, they can get up to 92* - 94*f... before the duct though, it climbed up to 101*f with the tent open. I can't wait to see the difference with LED heat wise as well.

run the fan without the light?

Eh man, been a minute!

just got caught up, looks like you have become a champ at lst and scroging haha nice lil trellis you made haha that is origanal cant wait to see it later!

KEEP IT FROSTY MY FRIEND!

Thanks for stopping by jlt and your kind words, I'm trying sir I'm trying... With all the knowledge one can receive from all you growers it ain't hard :) still got the temps in the 90s today it's been around 89-92 for the past two days if I check the max and mins of the days. In a week it's meant to cool down so we shall see.

i had a huge heat wave hit my homeland other week, make sure you have a co2 bag in there and they will tough trough it and acualy grow well, i also like to get ballsy with the humidty and let it get up there to about 60 to 70 lol get it like a rain forest in this b*t*ch ; P

Any cheap solution for some co2 pretty broke student ATM, so yeah any cheap good method is appreciated, thanks for the tip. I can't really kick the humidity up, it's sitting at around 42% which I guess is okay for flowering no chance of mold that way I guess.

Man you can get bags for 20-40$ depending were you find, online there 24$ish

humitidy you can jump up by putting a 2 liter, cut the top and fill with warm water during lights on, the water will give you just a lil not too much,

but the bag, 100% worth it if you cut fast food for a week ; P
