Thanks Spimp for comment,didn't offend me i am not that kind of man.You have learned me something new with that post.Thank you,now i know why people go to 12/12 with autos.I have read something that auto finish quicker under 18 or 20 hours of light but with 12/12 they grow slower but with higher yields.Don't know is that truth?Thx for comment

We change auto's to 12/12 to give the budding hormone a better chance to build up. Auto's have the same hormone to produce bud's as photo's. They just have an added ability to build up the hormone during light hours that photo's don't.

And the reason why no-one has not tried to give Maxx too much advice, is because he is growing somewhat of an un-known to most of us. Auto clones from a specific location.

For example, if he was growing one of the Auto strains I have grown before, I would make comments and tell him what I have done to increase yields. But Maxx also has his own experience to draw from. And yes, he knows what he is doing.

Sorry about the tangent Maxx, I just wanted to explain why I'm going 12/12 on an auto. And I know it's not the same as photo's.

The absolute truth is we don't know everything (or most) about auto's yet. The first Auto's weren't very good. Very very small. But the second and third generation are getting a lot better. But There isn't the years and years of research and results with auto's like their are in photo's. So It's still a guessing game to some degree. Relaxed Lester has an "auto" that is outdoors and huge and not flowering, while the same strain indoors he has force-flowered and is budding like crazy.

I've seen another grower re-veg an auto (which is supposed to be impossible) and it grew into a beast. So experimentation, and then sticking to what works for you with auto's is probably the best advice for now.

BTW the re-veg was an auto mazar.

All questions are open here we all learn from them as others express their thoughts and knowledge so keep it going haha. Yeah autos are a bit of a wildcard in the terms of understanding them as you said Spimp. The way I see it is this I have roughly 3-4 weeks left, So if i start now with every day cutting 15 mins they will be down by roughly 7.5 hours in 30 days having them at 11.5/12.5. What do you guys think? It would be an ever so gradual shift down the ladder kinda natural diminishing light like outdoors.

Heya guys, Thanks jaga hope youre having a great day too. Plants are looking good and healthy today, with buds developing swimmingly. starting to have thoughts about the lights height and weather to bring it down a bit in the next few days once buds start to get a bit bigger.

I looked and the AK47 and WW1 showed that they grew so Hence why i was thinking to wait a few more days or so. soon as they start budding up im dropping it good to know I am on the right track

Hey ya Jaga Im using a light from TOP LED - Reflector LED Grow Light 48x3w, How are you liking it thus far? Their pretty neat little things huh. Makes me feel so happy I moved and am now part of this growing trend and adaptation to getting better lights for better product. Which one did you end up getting? Hope you and your ladies are all well.

I have a UFO 90w by ever it was cheap an its running next to a 200w big CFL an 4 small LED spotlights
I wanna chnge it over to LED only maybe the CFL for Veging

I really think going with TOPLED you cant go wrong, the shipping was fast, on time, solid box no damage to it, and with the price its ridiculous in comparison to anything on the market. These girls by far have been the most healthy looking in comparison to hps 600W and clfs I can only recommend people to make the switch. I would really be interested in getting the MARII 400W but im worried about clearance in my tent seeing as its only 120cm tall I'm a little concerned it would be too bright

Whats up people, I hope all is well and that everyone's had a spiffy weekend and week. Update is inbound for tomorrow, the AK47 really took off the past few days and is now the tallest of the four. Just had a light LST, and moved a few of the plants around to balance out that canopy, did a bit of defol here and there on the two ladies in the front row now. They are looking fabulous.
