MassMedMan's Spring Fling - Indoor/Outdoor - Organic - Medical - 6 Autos

Good to see you 420brother.

As you can see I've been busy.

Pictures say it all. Three of those candy kush are waaaaaaaaaaay ahead of my last ones at point. not even close. Not. Even. Close.

Great day today everyone!!

Your a more experienced grower. And your environment is more controlled that's the number 1 reason. Others a just Lil variables

Great video MassMedMan. You're really slamming this organic thing. Perfect volume on those teas/pot. The soil gets the benefit and the reservoirs are untainted. Your girls are looking fantastic. That greenhouse light is such an incredible benefit.

You have to be totally stoked right now. Wait until you smoke your first bit of harvest grown in this soil. You'll never look back. :laughtwo::green_heart:

I bet the bomb will produce higher thc content then the ones with clover. Is the bomb on house and garden?

No, the bomb will get the fox farm line. Saving the h&g for our grow.

Thanks Sue, although I don't expect much taste change from the first four I grew which were organic, hit with fox farms once actually, other then that water and teas. Maybe there will be a difference, but I doubt it.

I think the whole organic taste better thing is annoying. It's like people selling carbon credits. If it makes you feel better, have at it. I've smoked nute product for years, and recently organic, and the only difference seen comes from bud washing.

I could blind test people all day and twice on Tuesday's with organic and non organic bud and they would not know. Most, and ones that did would get lucky.

It's over hyped and over used.

Hey they passed some new medical law here I guess yesterday thats funny right when I switch to recreational figures.

It's a good change though creates more regulation in medical so random black market growers aren't flooding the medical market with untested product.

You may have a point there. This was my first organic run and also my first use of bud washing, so it may be the difference came from the washing. Interesting point. I do know it all smokes smooth and hits with power. Much better than anything I ever bought.

Product on the street is bottom shelf. Usually infested with mite carcasses. Sprayed with miticide or worse colchicine. Most are either straight cash crops or been rejected on the medical market.

It tasted bad more then likely do to sprays, lack of experience, lack of dry time. Lack of cure time.

People that don't care about what there doing grow crap especially when it's just about the money and not the product. If a grower focused on quality people will return for that product no matter the method. If they try and be sleazy it will screw them long term. Medical or recreational it's about developing consistent quality to get the product established. In a closet it's goal is to not smoke bottom shelf street rat crap anymore.

I'm just evaluating it all and judging based on what I experience, mixed in with some peer feedback. I'm going to find a balance between organic and bottled. My guess is my plants will veg organic and for flower I'll mix it up a bit. But, each day I learn more, experience more and my feelings evolve. So, I'm just trying to learn the foundational building blocks of growing. And there is a foundation to be learned four both organic and bottled.

I'm with Dutty on the stuff sprayed on after, and the dead bugs,, all that influences taste more then the method it's grown e.g. organic or not. In my opinion anyway....

Have you ever checked out BlueJay's No-till Gardening thread on another site? The man's an inspiration. He's got pictures up yesterday of his soil after 14 cycles. It's almost entirely worm castings at this point. The ecosystem he has maintained blows the mind and the health and vigor of his plants is stunning. It's my dream to duplicate what he does with LOS and what DrZiggy does with HB kit soil.

When I smoked my first home grown weed (used supermarket compost, perlite and tomatoe fertiliser) the supreme leader and I were blown away by the fact that we did not cough and splutter as we had both done all our lives when we smoked street bought weed.

By the time I started my third plant I had 'organic' cannabis specific substrate and 'organic' cannabis specific nutes and have only grown with those ever since. There was no change in the taste or quality of my weed.

On a support forum such as this, I think that it is important that we all support each other and suppress the urge to judge what and how anyone is growing with insofar as they are not using poisons and or carcinogens in their grow.

Very few people have the logistical circumstances for making living organic soil for their cannabis and non 420 gardens and it is counter productive to cause people to feel inadequate or not part of the clique if they are not growing a certain way......I will even help a MG grower if they are in difficulties cos that's what a forum is all about.

Just my 2 cents......

That right there is exactly where I stand. I do have capabilities to do others but I do what works for me and try and help others.

That's why I like you bapple

Thanks DP!

I just wish everyone would understand that a house divided will fall/fail.

The enemy is people who think cannabis users and growers are, criminal, deviant even dangerous, and pursue that agenda with scary and myriad consequences for many otherwise law abiding individuals. But in our own house we should be united; there are many ways to skin a cat....

Well put, Bapple. I think Dutty said it best when he said, it's a state of mind. What Bluejay does isn't for everyone. I think I'm doing the best I can, with what I have to grow my own. Not buy from some dude or dudet where i have no idea what went into the process. I told my nursery friend about the bud washing,, he was impressed and agreed it'll be a standard.

I grew in miracle grow last year and it's the foundation that I grow on each day. Having that, security of the soil, allowed me to learn or focus on other areas. It still smoked better than shit from some dude. And I didn't wash it.

So, I know first hand. Probably why I'll just get doc's kit, so I can speak first-hand and learn another way to skin the cat.

It's almost like me finding that door the other day when I wouldn't have normally gone that route. Or, having the conversation I did today with my buddy and getting some HP.

It's meant to be. I'm meant to grow. In order to do it like a pro, like people here that do it professionally. I have to learn and do it all.

It's a calling. I hear my bong, bubble, bubble,,,,,,aaaaaaah. ;)
