Girls are looking good, PPM was a little high at about 3000 so they'll be getting a nice RO water feed on Saturday. Clones are looking good still green and healthy and I do see root development on 3 out of 6 hopefully I can get one more to root. They are on day 7 as well so hopefully in another 5 days we see more roots. Check out the SCROG she sure is filling in nicely! The penetration on these Optic 4s is insane just look at the base of the tent. Also temperatures in the tent right now are perfect Humididty will be better trying to keep it a little high for the Clones in the Veg tent so Im only running the dehumidifier at 50%. Mind you its been really humid in Massachusetts.

We have Roots! Finally after 8 days we are starting to see an explosion of roots on 5 of 6 clones. Have a little yellowing leaves but hopefully they'll bounce back. I added 3ml of CalMag to the Cloner and feel like it made a difference. Temp and RH are perfect right now hopefully can maintain throughtout flower.

Whats up 420Mag, Today I mixed my soil blend together for the Clones. They will be planted sometime this week as the Roots have started to explode! Thought I'd fill you guys in of what my blend consists of. I use 1 bag of Ocean Forest Fox Farm Soil mixed with 5 Quartz of Perlite, 5 Quartz of Earthworm Castings, 8 Quartz of Compost, 10 Ounces of Dr Earth Bud & Bloom Booster and finally 10 Ounces of Bone Meal. All Organic of course!

Day 12, going into week 2 and Girls in Flower tent are doing great. Wasn't home for the weekend so the stretch was a little out of control and I had to do some SCROGing this morning which is filling in amazingly. So I've decided I will be upgrading the Veg tent and getting the Spectrum King Closet Case. It only pulls 100watts and can Veg a 4x4, this fixture will only be used in the Veg tent. Girls in Flower are looking great and we are starting to see some Pistils popping! Expecting a decent yield from this grow as I vegged these girls for 10 weeks, they are HUGE!

Day 15 in Flower: Girls were fed with 1/2 Dose Tiger Bloom and Grow Big last night PH'd at 6.7. Also planted 4 clones, the other 2 will be planted in a few days. Gnats are back

Scrog has been filling in beautifully! The light is currently 24 inches from the canopy and I can only raise the light about 3 more inches. What do you guys think about defoliating, didnt do it to my last grow but im eager to see the difference. I do remove fan leaves blocking bud sites but Im debating on completely stripping down the canopy during week 3 so light can penetrate to the bottom. Feel free to give any input. Some oics of the bud sites developing

Aprreciate it Kevin, I have no complaints on these LEDs what so ever they are doing me VERY well but we'll have to see the Trichome production and just how dense these buds turn out.

I'll be watching closely, interested to see what those lights can do. You have a very nice setup. Looks like your first grow with HPS was more than a success. So this should turn out the same.

I was reading through your journal and I noticed you said you have two optic 4 and a chemdog.... I just started my chemdog 14 days ago...is it a picky strain? And how do you like the optic 4 I thought about getting one but I ended up getting a ps mini instead for the time being. And your girls look pretty damn good

Whats up Slim, The Optic 4 is a great light in my opinion but I came from a HPS setup and I hated it. Temperatures were always an issue and with these LEDs it wont get above 77, consistent at 75. Penetration is were the Optic shines, the secondary reflectors create some really nice PAR reading. Chemdog on the other hand has been fairly easy, had a little Calcium deficiency in Veg but fixed that up quick. She is definitely the smallest of the bunch but we'll see what she puts out for yield.
