Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

i ask this question every few months lol as ive not taken the plunge and am kinda holding back on led lol
i get between 18oz-21oz from a hps 600w 90% of grows strain dependent
can i ask wot sort of yields are u gettign from the mars 1200w? and wot sort of yields are u getting from the mars 1600w?
ive tried looking threw the diarys but most either dont end or dont end well?
any help would help me make up my mind

Hi Sara, Thought I would share what your lights have done to my plants after only a ten day veg and now on their third week of bloom my plants have outgrown their home. I have tied them beat them and even broken their arms and it only makes them get bigger. Only hope I have the same trouble with big dense flowers there is just under 50 watts per sq ft and the plants have grown into the 900 watt Mars 2 many times without a mark. Lights are on the roof and the tent (6.5 ft X 6.5 ft ) is full and getting fuller.

Just a heads up. Sara is probably in bed at this point. She should be back on around 9pm EST.

I figured as much supergroomer that's why I signed up figured a response would be faster here. I can't seem to get the china line to work and replies from the shop are always early am. Hoping she can get me some answers here . BTW u see u did a Barney's farm pineapple chunk? How was that project? I plan on using the mars 700 on a few PC my self.

Haha thank you WJ, maybe you can share some pictures of the tomatos to us, you know putting the picture with MJ is too dangerous on our website now. lol

I am more than satisfied that I chose Mars-Hydro as my light supplier. I use a Mars II 700, a Mars II 900 and a 48x3 reflector model. Not only do I get maximum medical harvests, but I also got my tomato plants through the winter and grew greens for the family. My style is Hempy for the medicine and recycling Hempy for the tomatoes and Kratky boxes for the greens. Happy doesn't describe how I feel about my lights.
I absolutely love my Mars-Hydro LEDs. Good day Sara!

Now the only thing is the patent, we need to get the patent passed then we can send the light out for test and sell them, waiting waiting wating

Hey Sara. Any idea when the new cobb light will be out to be tested? (and have you decided on who the tester(s) will be )

Hmmm,,,, Seeds is indeed very important.

The Pinapple was a complete bust and waste of $50+ . I got 5 seeds and not a single one made it. 1 out of 5 maybe 2 out of 5, but all 5. Only one even germinated and she never made it above the soil. I will not be ordering Barney's seeds again anytime soon.

It will depend on the tech you grow, for the first time, you might grow not as good as other gowers, but you will get better and better yield when you have the experience with LEDs. I believe many growers here can give you some reference ideas on the yields quantity.

Lowered scrognet and took a picture when it was off.

The 150w reflector(got it free before and thx again for that) makes her look good and soon let her go into bloom, (limited space)

Is it hard to replace the fans of the mars-hydro?
They're a bit louder than I first thought, or are there other ways to soundproof my growbox?

It is quite easy, we are using the male and female design for the connection inside, open the light case and you will see, You can get some good same size PC fans.

would be great if some growers could point to wot yield they got with the 1200w or 1600w mars leds and maybe even link there diaries?
its the only thing stopping me buying atleast 4 units right now
