Thanks for the response Dennise. I took a look at your grows and I have to say well done! I'm pretty sure I'm going to try it and put 2 144x5s in a 4x4 and see what happens. Same exact thing happened to me...got the 21 day hold thing...wtf?!? So I contacted pay pay and was told money has to be sent friends and family ant as payment. That was the reason for the 21 day hold PayPal has. In PayPal eyes it looks like the payment is for,goods being purchased by the sender of payment. And it looks like I'm the seller. Thus PayPal is asking me to ship out item so I can receive money faster......All this was confusing as hell at first. But after speaking with PayPal I was told to contact the sender of money and tell the to resend the money correctly after I refund the money....so that's what I did....sent 2 emails to Sophia and a note with the refund...all this was 2 days ago...so now I'm waiting on Mars hydro and Sophia to respond/correct...can you help with this Sara???

You haven't heard back from Sophie yet, I believe because it's her weekend. I know some lights were given away here and some on another forum Mars-Hydro sponsors, so I'm sure there are other's experiencing problems outside of the few who have spoken up here. Either way They'll get this taken care of and we'll get our free shit!

I'm agree with you, Sara. It would be nice if only verified purchasers could review the products on Amazon. It hardly seems fair otherwise!

We never mark our product as led grow light and all of the packages we use for shipping are the plain without any description related to LED grow lights, so almost nobody knows it is grow light,so we can keep your safety this way. don't worry

I'm not sure about the reflector series of lights, but my Mars2 900 came in a plain cardboard box with Chinese writing on it. Other than that I would say it was fairly stealth. There were no company markings on my box at all... hope this helps.[/Q

Was on Amazon and found a comment under the 900 watt Mars 2 from a C.S. Gray said he bought four lights and two are not working and there is no way to contact you I left a comment and a review and reported the review as abuse. Wanted you to know you can leave comments to reviews on Amazon and challenge false claims

Just placed an order for the 144x5, pretty excited will be my first LED! Trying to find reviews, but there's not a lot out there yet. Is there any physical difference between the 144x3 and the 144x5?

the 144x5 use 5watt chips with a better penetration and it's more powerful than 144x3watt.because the 144x5 uses the strongger chip,we added a heatsink into the light to solve the heat issue, so it's a little heavier and thicker than the 144x3w, hope you will grow well with it

I picked up a 144 x 5 a couple of weeks ago and there was nothing on the box that concerned me at all. I don't think you have anything to be concerned about and I think you'll love your light!

The mars 144x5 is a little thicker then the 3 watt version and the box I got was brown with Chinese writing like previously stated. and as soon as mars expressed an interest in having us review there product I went to amazon and reviewed the mars 2 700+900 and reflector 48x3 and 144x3 as I have the 5 watt version!! Yes you are right, you are familiar with it ,haha ,there is a little difference between them. and the description on the package is plain, so it's safe.

Yes if you follow the link in my signature I am using the mars 144x5, you may have to skip to about 1/2 way through as I was using a T5 for veg. I hope the info helps someone make a
