Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

WhiteBoyBrian, I have been watching Mr Tight and Medgrower1's videos on Youtube and have found them extremely useful.

Here is a video that you might be interested in, it specifically talks about what you are asking and goes through it in easy steps:

Check out both of their channels, they've changed the way I grow.

Thanks Celt:thumb: that could definitely help
Good morning/evening Sara

The app I use on my phone is called "Light Sensor" and I found it on the Google Play Store...its free.

Your always welcome Munchies, :circle-of-love: It is my pleasure that I could help. :passitleft:
Wow ! What a beautiful canopy, what kind of light ? Also what are you yielding from that if you would like to share ?
Those are the kind of results I dream of lol :tokin:

Oh and SmokeSara, everything has been taken care of. I received the tracking info this morning.
I'll make sure to come back and post a pic or two of the setup

Thanks for all the help, the time you spend here answering questions and helping customers is very much appreciated :goodjob:

Good evening Dennise :circle-of-love:
To be honest with ya... Every girl I have ever grown has looked like that and I thought it was just due to the cal/mag issue with LEDs in general.... Again I would absolutely do what I had been advised by King to do as I would be assured I had been given good information.....:circle-of-love:

Evening YoCeE :circle-of-love:
Hey!

This time It won't give the results I usually get because I have a strain that only gives 300-350 a m2. 6 bubblegums from 00 seeds they stay small and yeah not sure I'll ever re-do after the second clone round. I usually get 675g dry with the 2x900w which only use 440-450 watts each so not too bad. Not a gpw but still good and the quality is mint, all top buds no shake because I lollipop. The picture is 4 days before I start the overdrive, I'll reupdate after a few days of OD you'll see the buds explode!

YoCeE
:Namaste:
At least I got the 6 NL x Sugar black Rose to save the day in the back. 550g/m2 ;-P
Evening supergroomer :circle-of-love:
Just out of curiosity, what do you do differently for "Overdrive"? :peace:

all under 2 300watt "old model"

Good for you YoCeE, :thumb:
OverDrive by advanced nutrient is a bud booster and adds time meaning you can add a week or a week and a half of ripeness which adds on to your bud weight. Expensive yes, worth it? Totally. The taste that comes out after is unmatched my my local people, cheap always gives a cheap taste ha. There's boosters that add more right but the quality of the bud seems to be unmatched. I also strongly believe it adds trichome production to the max.

To be used the last 2 weeks before your 1-2 weeks of rinse. In my schedule it is week 5-7

Thanks supergroomer, I am sure many growers will appreaciate the question, great info got. lol :circle-of-love:
Is it for Hydro only or soil too? :peace:
:thanks:
Seems to be catering more towards hydro... I'm not so sure for soil I always thought there was different alternatives to organic that would seem to work better... Someone else should chime in on this haha :p

Guess the Snow Storm Ultra is also very good too. :thumb:
I have been using Snow Storm Ultra as a foliar spray once a week and find it to produce more resin. :peace:
Wonderful :volcano-smiley:
I use the Ultra Snow Storm too and it most certainly increases the trich production... King uses it too and his last round looked like they had been laminated they were so covered.....:circle-of-love:

You are welcome Sara

I may be a novice at growing but have many, many years of building and technical experience so always willing to share my knowledge with the great community here :Namaste:

I am sure you are, lol :circle-of-love: :passitleft:
Thanks for sharing those, Arellanobrian! I am a couple of weeks away from putting my 144x5 up and I can hardly wait!! Girls look really good! :thumb::goodjob::thanks:
:high-five:
no problem man im glad I was able to get these lights and help some ppl with examples of how the plants react to the lights. Can't wait to see you put your lights up. Do you have a journal of your grow? I would love to follow it and see how your lights do
Really look forward to your journal, remember to send us invitation. :cheesygrinsmiley: :circle-of-love:
I have a small grow going but I do not have a journal. I am putting the pieces together to set up another small area for my new light and then I will begin a journal. In the mean time I will go and check out yours! :Namaste:

We will change the description soon, don't worry, haha :circle-of-love:
Damn ordered a 144 x 3 only to receive a 144x5!!! :thumb:I ain't complaining although I think you all should change the description on your website to 144x5 Sara.

Hello WhiteBoyBrian, IMO, it might due to the water and PH rate like Boogy man said, just check your PH level first and see what should do next . :circle-of-love:
This is 3 1/2 weeks into flowering . Been losing a lot of leafs at the bottom , got me a bit worried .
Anyway to control that ?
Also does anyone know a rough estimate on yield per plant with the Marshydro 96x3 ?
I let them veg for 6 weeks .

Thank you Boogyman, you are very helpful. :thanks:
White boy looks like you're having some type of defiency, most likely due to a pH problem or water that is not dechlorinated. Fill up whatever you use to water with and let it sit uncovered over night to evaporate the chlorine.
Thanks Boogyman !! Sounds about right , I usually don't do that but the advice is great . Thanks !
:circle-of-love:
What do you think about cutting off the very bottom branches that really aren't doing to much .
The picture is the bottom of a strawberry blue plant . The bottom four branches are really thin and haven't really been doing much . I got all the other branches to the top with buds on em . Can I clip these off ?

:thumb:
Trim all branches that would be sucking energy from the top bud sights. Take some water, adjust the pH to 6.2-6.5 and give your plants a good watering when they start to dry up a lil bit, don't soak the soil in flowering just yet.
Appreciate everything Boogyman !!!

Thank you apeshot, Mr Tight is very helpful on Youtube, thanks for sharing :circle-of-love:
