Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Thank you very much buster, welcome to out topic :welcome:
Thanks for the link to the new site. I may be looking to try a couple of your lights in the future.

yes, :high-five:
i have some girls going now and have some of the same signs as the picture shows
i follow you folks here and have already started adding extra mag and cal
i trust you all
what i want to add is that i too have grown before
not with led (used cfl) and must learn to use them, it is quite the different experience
i do what i have before but adjust as i go, i think i started with mine too close
and now have adjusted them, i ignore the old leaves and watch my new growth
what was before is not always applicable to now
for instance if you grow with soil for years then switch to dwc...you must learn
also i think some strains react differently to led
more adjustment ,you know the old saying...some like it hot... well some do not
it is proven by many members that led will work
it is up to us to perfect the process in our own environment
take care and good luck

yes, we can, but we will ship from China for you. how many you need and where you want to ship? you can email me, then I will give you an quote. :)
sara, can u get the ufo"s in a all red spec.

thanks for your help KJC, :circle-of-love:
Other people who have purchased the old model LED light panels are having success with them. I would feed your plant nutrients and full strength calcium and magnesium every time you water if you are able. I am having good success using LED light panels and feeding 1/2-3/4 strength nutrient that I would use under High Pressure Sodium lights every time I water unless I am flushing. You could purchase an inexpensive light meter and determine at what height and lumen level your plant can tolerate with your LED light panel.

all our light has the same spectrum ratio, if 100x3w has problem, you will get the same problem when you use other light. thats why I can not ship a new light to you .
That is what I was taught years ago. It's worked great for the past 3 years for me. Every grower I know laughed at me when I said I got an led to try. I wanted it to work in the worst way believe me just to shut them up. I went with the wrong led from Sara. Shouldve got the 400w mars but went with the old 100x3w. I'll stick with hps lol

I believe you change the height and nutrition according to plants, but not stick to old grow experience and do not want to change even you see the plants has problem:)
I use the Mars II 400 and it is only 6" away from some tops with no ill effect:peace:

Hey all my friends, could you help leave some product review on our new website? we want more, but there have very very less. we can ot move the old review to the new website now:(

My trio of 96x3 reflector LEDs arrived today, and after installing them and getting my plants in place I have to say I'm VERY disappointed.

That I didn't buy them sooner! They're beautiful. I just hope the girls like them as much as I do. One surprise I found is that after spending 10 minutes in a grow tent with LEDs running, everything outside of the tent will have a green tint for a while. I thought the Matrix had me! It wears off pretty fast, but it was pretty weird the first time it happened.

Part of the reason a minimum hanging distance is give is for the individual LED's to mix their spectrum together for full spectrum coverage. I would try to maintain a minimum hanging distance for your plants to receive even light spectrum coverage.

Those are some nice lights! You're gonna see a big difference in your grow. Buy some $5 cheap welders goggles and wear them, they work and make everything look like normal light LOL :biglaugh: You dont need the $80 ones.

haha, when I read the first sentence you scared me :) but read more, I am very very happy , hahaha, I believe you can grow great, share with us here, and any questions you can ask here, grow happy :circle-of-love:

I feel you and understand that led lights can work. The only reason I got it was it's a small autoflower tent that height is an issue(only 5' high). The 100x 3w obviously needs to be higher than I can have it. It's a crazy powerful light that's why I want to swap it out for a 48x3w instead for this grow room. I just love to see when you privately ask the rep of the light manufacturer to swap it out for a less expensive light, she puts it's all over this page where no one dares say anything bad about her leds then tells me she not gonna swap it cause you guys said it's a nutrient issue. God forbid her light actually had an issue and I needed to replace it. She would probably ask her sponsors on a page she sells lights on what to do!! At least I saw how her customer service is about. Sara has lost me as a customer. I'll stick to 6ozs per plant not stunted led grows. At least I had room in my hps tent to save my plant before I had to throw it out. HPS FOR LIFE!!!!!

I am sorry your tent and LED light panel combination does not work well for you. Perhaps a tent with a larger height in the future will allow you to use your LED light panel? Where Sara live she can not grow cannabis and and lacks the first hand knowledge that comes from experience. I believe that Sara was simply attempting to get the most accurate answer to your plants issues and asked experienced growers to help answer what was happening with your plant, Sara has also done this in the past to assist her customers with their plants issues.

yes, I am in China, I can not grow myself, so if experienced grower can help, I think that is much better than me. thats why I post here and ask help.

Brock, actually, you can follow other growers instruction to see if the plants change back. U tent height is only 5feet , but I saw the plants in the picture, plants is not too high, so I think the height is not a problem at present. you can keep the light above the plants 2.5~3feet, can you ?
I can not promise 48x3w will work well for you, so I can not ship new light to you . sorry.
