For any of use to help give you light info you will need to let us know what you are working with.
Grow space size?
How many plants?
Veg or flower or both?
Are you vegging in same space as flower?

Hey Weedchief , check my current grow journal. There is short look to my previous grow under 600W Top Led light
 
Well size of room I'm not sure yet depends on the light. What I can afford right now is probably going to be a 4x4 but I got a 12x12 room that I can use.. and Yes it will be both Veg and Flower. And I would need a light that could do both. I can't afford two separate lights atm.

what pushed me to try led was this company and one 420mag member that grows with this companys light.

so the reason i never tried led was because the price and negative talk about them from growers that never used them. now the price was always to high for me to "try" them out being around 2000-4000 back in the day for a good reviewed one. now that prices have dropped and all led manufactures are competing this seemed like the time for me to try it on my own.

now talking the fiance into me spending 650 on a light was fun. i remember telling my dad about it and he was like (6.50? doesnt seem to terrible) we had a good laugh about it.

so this was the way i went about that..

i was in need of a new light, and i needed to light up a 4.5x4.5 tent. (so new light was coming either hps or led) and fiance knew this.
200-250 for a xxl hood
150-200 for a 1000w ballast
100 for fan (comes with carbon filter i typically dont use)
60 for hortilux sphps (every 6 months)
total of around 500 not counting multiple bulbs over a period of 6-10 years.

was enough to get me to try it at least, and has won me over. i still like hps and may start using one for the winter (i like not having to use heaters during the winter in the mtns) and with this led i would have to run a heater. which is not factored in to the 500 above ;)

I didn't think about the heater thing.. And right now 650 is more than I can afford but that's the one I need/want.. But I'm on a whole new page that hasn't seen results from LED nor does anyone know anything about them. So I'm hoping me and Sara can work something out where I can get the 650 cheaper or at a rate to wear it can bring in several NEW customers like it did for her here. If it can't then i'll have to do the 4x4 and oh well it. lol but I hope we can work something out it will help me and potential bring more people over to her. Cause your right it IS CHEAPER and they got a lot of new start up people and people outgrowing there set ups. So it could be a win win. IDK.

Also how do you post pics on here? Like you guy's do of your grows n such?
 
the top of the page you will see a button that says GALLERY

click on that then go down to UPLOAD PHOTO

Scroll down on that page and you will see a button that says upload photo. click that then select the pictures from the location on your computer.

click UPLOAD

and then once its uploaded, in your comment box you will see a picture of a camera next to a film roll. that camera will have the pictures you uploaded.

These plants were vegged for little over 2 months then flowered. compared to my last hps grow i have a higher yield with this light but it is 600W more then the last grow

You have the option of going with a full spectrum light, like the Mars II, or the Old Model. Or you can go with the reflector series, which has switches for each, Veg, and Flower.
