I have both the FC3000 and the FCE3000 in my space.
And there is nothing in it.
Have agree after 2 grows with the lights side by side.
Cant speak for which light will keeps its in intensity better over the years.
But right now my money would be spent on the FCE4800

Late to the party but any 4800 model is perfect for a 4 x 4. I love mine and know others who have had the E model and adore it just the same.

I've used an open grow room when I started and moved to a tent then another and another. Tents are the way for small to medium scale growing. The ability to control the environment and run multiple tents at given times is a win-win for anyone who likes to grow small but still grow big!

Just dropping off some pics of my current photo/auto girls under the FC4800.

I have a $30 lux meter that I use. 10k lux for seedlings, 15-25k lux early veg, 30-40k lux later veg, 50k lux for bloom. You can keep it closer and turn down the dimmer to get the required lux and cut electric costs.

8 - 12. It really depends on the size of the plants you grow.
Yes, the size of the plant is a factor in determining how many plants the tent can hold.
