Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

I just purchased a similar light, they sent me a new one by mistake, their light also debuts on 1st June.
It has a separate dimmer, and the dimmer unit has two Ethernet ports.
Am I getting close?:)
Ethernet ports? What is this 2004? Lol

no wifi?;)

I love my sp250 too. I own the tsl and see how efficient they are but I have a lean more into the sp250 as a preference now. I am up for a tent very soon now for the loft too. Will need to adapt it on site but will be looking through the range at Mars. Heres my ladies under the sp250 this week at week 7 flowering in 60 L living organic soil pots. Sp250 grow from seed to weed. Out next week.

Giveaway just began, pelease check the new thread:

How do you find the heat coming off of the SP250. Is it manageable with the exhaust fan or do you need AC?
You can remove the SP250 power supply and put it outside the tent, this can reduce a lot of heat

Thought I’d show off how the SP150 provides great light for starting off seedling as well as giving my older plants light when I bring them in at night. Larger ones go outdoors permanently at the end of the month. PPFD at this distance is about 530.

It’s an adhoc setup as I intent for all plants to be outside.
good luck, you need a tent to increase the par

Hey, everyone. The new giveaway start now. Welcome to join here:

I harvested the two Pineapple Express plants last night. The White Strawberries and Chem '91 will get harvested next week. I'm estimating 10-12 oz. dried on the two PE's but will be easier to tell once the buds are all cut from the stalks.

Just curiosity, what is the price point of the new light in comparison to an sp250?
good question, because SP3000 use Samsung chips, and add seperatly dimmer. The cost is high. the retial price may be around 400usd.

@SmokeSara

- SP3000 has 2'x5' flower coverage, 3'x6' veg coverage

Hii, what's the size of the new SP3000?
Would it still fit a 2x4 or two lights in a 4x4 even if it has more coverage?

Thanks
The size of SP3000 is same as SP250. Why it can cover more than SP250? Because it's 300w, SP250 is 245w. And we use Samsung and more chips now. the PPFD is much higher than SP250, and its outer ring also has a high PPFD, so it can cover a larger area.

2'x5' flower coverage is the max coverage when using SP250 in the flowering stage. It can also be used for 2x4 flower tent.

Cool, can't wait to get the new SP3000 and a 4x4 tent and add to my SP250

I'm debating ive gotn2 sp250, and a tsw 2000. I'm looking for kore rednspec during flowering. Do i go 2 3000, and 1 250, or 2 250 and 1 3000 in a 4x4

If you can afford go with 2 new SP-3000, I have 2 other leds from other brands with samsung diodes and it's just another level imo, that's why Mars Hydro did very well to upgrade do them.

And don't get me wrong, the SP-250 it's an amazing light, very happy with mine but I think growers will notice the difference from the epistar to samsung diodes.
