Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

I'm going to use a grow tent with 1mx1mx2m
What lights do you recommend me to use to get the most of that space? I'd like to yield, 300-400g, I know that depends on experience, plant training, overall tent conditions... I only got experience with an 600w MH/HPS, but I'd love to change to LED in order to reduce the heat in my grow?
There's no budget limitation. I was wondering if would be best to go with the TSW 2000 QB, the TS 3000 QB, 2x SP250 or 2x TSL QB

2x sp250 is the best option from that list. Or maybe look at 2x sp3000, but they haven't been released yet

Do you have a suggestion outside of that list?
I was looking at the sp3000, I didn't even know they existed, those lights look amazing, I'm probably going to wait for them to get released

The sp3000 was only announced a few days ago. So pre-orders are maybe June. Its a high red spec light.

The other qb options from Mars hydro is the tsw 3000, tsw 2000, same spec tho 3000 is has a 50% higher power draw.

Then 2x sp250 is probably the best option with the UV light that helps with density and potency.

I am looking forward to seeing what the new sp3000 has to offer as I am looking for a good red spectrum flowering light

Thanks for the advice
Since the budget it's not a problem, I'm going to wait, and probably invest in 2 SP3000

I'm renovating part of my house, including the room where the grow tent is going to be, I cannot start the grow while the renovation is going on.
It'll take between 6 to 8 weeks to get everything completed (hopefully )

So with current shipping times, expect longer than 4 weeks shipping. How frequent do you want the harvest, and how many plants.

The sp250 I believe is being discontinued soon, and I think the US supply is done. As for the sp3000 there is a contest and the winner will do a side by side comparison grow of the sp250 and sp3000. But that's not until after your tent timeline

I'm not in the US.
I want to harvest every 4-5 months, since I just want to grow 2 plants, I plan to topping them, mainlining, defoliate and vegged them longer to be able to pull a decent yield (I'm not growing autos). I mainlined my last grow (but only topping twice) and I've got good results.

I'm going to watch the winner comparison closely. Thanks for the heads up.

You size could run a good 3 or 4 plants to cut down on veg time and pull up to 300g every 3 months.

I know, it's only for safety reasons that I'm running 2 plants at the time, I even considered to grow only 1, but I don't want to vegged it for 4 months :p

If I was to grow 3 plants, to harvest 300g every 3 months, would you recommend to still topping and mainlining them? I assume that you are talking about vegged them 1 month and flowering for 2 months. From my experience, if I top the plant 2 times, there's no way I can switch to flower in 2 month.

My current grow i topped once. Planted seed january 19th. Flipped April 1st. I over vegged and only 2 plants. Im chopping within the next 10 days.

They look amazing, what strain are you growing?
I'm trying to decide what I'm going to run next time, I was thinking about growing Northern Lights, since I'm transitioning to led for the first time, and that's a resistant mid/high yielding strain.

I'm runking critical kush, I've got godfather og started and prepogated to go into my next grow. And if I win the sp3000 contest I'll be shortening that grow and doing another grow of critical kush in the side by side.

The length of sp250 and SP3000 is 108cm, so it's a little big for your grow tent. So I recommend TSW2000 to you, it's the best suited for your grow size.

I am also looking forward to SP3000 in the flowering stage

Did you install a monitor over your tent?
