I was under the impression that they would give a better yield than the White Widow I did outside. Guess I was wrong. Very disappointed at this point. I did just trim those up a bit, but just the dead stuff and very small under growth.Should be more filled out then, Rich Farmer run the GSC xtrm for a while. GSC isn’t known for big yields though.
I am not familiar with how your country treats Halloween at all, but plenty love it over here. A contest of a Halloween themed plant or bud photo would be cool, see who can make it spooky.I am planning on a new activity. What do you guys have in mind?
Let me know your thoughts, I want to make it fun!
Do you think I should add more lighting or just go in a different direction??? 2 sp250's don't seem to be enough to flower 7 plants...If I was to add another sp250 for flowering, I think the heat will be too much to deal with. Thoughts??Looking like not enough light to me, what’s the strain?
Closer than 12 inches... more like 5 inches from the top buds. What distance is your lights from the canopy?
Hmm light should be good then. Be nice to see what the roots look like.
Hi Budlite, the light is even to cover that space, and your hanging distance should be right. Are all the same strain and totally with the same nutrients and such? I find it also strange, if the light is not enough, I think the other three won't grow great as well. I will also ask some other growers' for help.Houston, we have a problem. Any insight would be appreciated. These are the seven plants I have been growing under 2 sp250's and this is the progress after 7 weeks. First two are what I was expecting.
Third best, stretched and stragly.
The rest, stretched, straggly and tiny buds.
This last pic is of the entire tent. Too crowded? Not enough light? I'm confused...
I have also make a post on other place, hopefully will get help soon. The strain is girl scout cookies extreme.
Hi Budlite, 2 of the SP 250 should work fine in 4x4 space, and your distance is fine. We use to suggest 3pcs of the SP 250 in the tent, but feedback from growers are 2 would be enough, 3 will be too much, so we recommend 2 now. Please don't worry, I am sure, we will find out the problem and solve it.Are you saying the 2 250's should flower this many plants in a 4x4 tent or just that the distance is ok???? I can pull one plant to see the roots if you think it will tell the answer...
High Bobby! Nice flower.Reflector 96 still pumps out some OGK/H flowers.
Thank you GeOMaTTiC, thanks for the input, I find them all very interesting and fun, I need get to it and make some details plan.I am not familiar with how your country treats Halloween at all, but plenty love it over here. If that isn't good, a nice friendly animal photo contest with plants would also be fun. I know how nosey they can be, and end up in a lot of unwanted shots at times. It's fun trying to get them to behave at the right moments.
Hi Budlite, if you add another SP 250,maybe will need bigger fan, or adjust some light wattage, to 200w each, I think will be perfect.Do you think I should add more lighting or just go in a different direction??? 2 sp250's don't seem to be enough to flower 7 plants...If I was to add another sp250 for flowering, I think the heat will be too much to deal with. Love it, great picture GeOMaTTiC! Soon we will have great flowering buds,Love the colour, and how there is no need to shut the light off to take pictures. This plant was started indoors, and the plan was to flower it indoors, but I got tired of vegging it and out it outside to flower. That was two weeks ago, so this is well on it's way into budding. No trichomes yet, so it will be nice to see what this can do from here on out.
Hi GeOMaTTiC, the light heat is depend on its total output: a 150w LED actually will put out the same heat as a 150w HPS. The reason that ppl think the LED will have lower heat is because, LED puts more effient lights which help you use less wattage, so less heat and less energy. The TS series are 2.15umol/J, which can save at least 30% energy, which means it can replace at least 250w HPS. suppose how much 250w HPS will put out.Now that the TS1000 has been running for two hours, is the ballast supposed to be too hot to handle? Not possible to touch for a complete 3 seconds. Have the fan on, blowing both the plant and light, but it's still very, very hot. Reflector is also extremely hot. If that is typical, I will need to rethink my setup.
