Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

I'm running a TSL-2000 in a 2' X 4' (60 x 120cm) tent. Take a look at my journal. You should get the same results in a 2' X 2' tent with the TS-1000.

Thanks. Re reading through your thread ;)

I may be buying after the first of the year. I would like to speak with you about buying a light or two
Definitely would love to help, when you are ready, you can PM me or just @me here, I will respond usually within 24 hours, or at most 72 hours if it is weekend. :circle-of-love:

Can someone please verify if the TS2000 can actually fit inside of a 24x24" tent?
I mean physical and without concern for heat burning the tent or anything. Maybe a photo of this? Thanks. Yayyyy Marshydro ;)
The light size is : 539*499.5*95mm, means around 21.6'x20'' , so I guess it is no problem to put in the 24x24'' space. :green_heart:

The TSL-2000 will not fit a 24x24" tent. It is too long. The TS-1000 will fit, and is recommended for this size of tent. The TSW-2000 may or may not fit the tent. It is 59X57X13CM or 23-1/4" X 22=1/2" X 5-1/8". Don't forget it may not touch the sides of the tent. I'd recommend a minimum of 2" everywhere between the tent and the light allowing for air flow to cool the light.
Right, not only consider the light size, but also needs to consider the space to cool the tent. :thumb:

How is everyone's weekend? :surf::surf::surf:

me too, only one day off, but this week I will take 3 days off from Friday. I need to attend some big activity for my sister. :Rasta: Don't miss me too much!

Three of the TSL 2000 will do perfect in your 6x5 area. :ganjamon: Give perfect coverage and evenly lights to plants. :green_heart: Your growing is really nice till now, I am also looking forward to seeing how the final result will be. :hippy: I have no doubt it will be a great one.but let's see. ;)
I plan on adding an sp250 in the middle for better penetration of main canopy and maybe angling the tsl2000's , lowering them to be level at the sides of the canopy and pointing towards canopy edge and sides. just a thought but in my plans for very near future ( when i can afford the sp too !. )
Thanks Sara. always a pleasure.

They're looking good. I'm two to three weeks behind you with the Candida and Cream & Cheese. The Sapphire Scout may go four weeks.

Some nice dense buds there! I love them! Looks very delicious :drool:

Sorry guys I am late today! Dealing with some issues and just settled. :love::love::love:
Today, I will share some difference between our TS and SP series. :love: very soon, later!

Some main difference of Mars TS and Mars SP series. :D

makes the ts look very inferior compared to the sp besides wider ( less penetrating!!) coverage.?. makes them feel obsolete and pointless to even consider over the SP , even the driver is a competitive selling point now too. is there any point to the ts series ?

I don't think the TS series is inferior at all. It has several strengths over the SP series of lights:
  • it's easier to move the power supplies out of the grow area. All that's needed is a readily available extension;
  • it has larger spacing between the LEDs for wider, more even coverage;
  • the wider light makes it easier to tilt;
  • less height, and closer spacing to the canopy saves vertical grow room, and
  • power (intensity) adjustment is easier than the SP series, as the control is on the top of the power supply.
Both the SP and TS series will have their devoted followers. In my opinion the TS series is best for tents, and other grow areas with limited vertical space.
