listen, I will only have one plant at a time in the flower stage, so what size/type led grow light would you recommend? the space will only be 3 x 3, so how much oompf do I need for the flowering stage?

Looks like I guess right. I recommend you the Mars II 900, Mars Reflector 192 and Mars TSW-2000, the three lights are all supposed for 3x3 flowering space.
- TSW-2000, you get higher PPE as 2.15~2.3umol/j; white color and no fan design, no noise; Save you more energy.
- Reflector 192, our grower's favoriate lights for many years, give you great spectrum and coverage; Also temp is lower.
- Mars II 900, you get stronger penetration.
IMO, you can choose between reflector 192 and TSW-2000.
