Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

I'd be hesitant to use an ozone generator in the same area as your plants DV...natural ozone pollution is already harmful to plants...a high concentration like you propose could do more harm than good...just my .02...cheerz...h00k...:hookah:

Sounds like you have good plan, hope your next post will bring good news that the spider mite under control:Namaste:

I didn't start the battle against the mites until today. What I have done is to keep humidity above 60% and I have kept air circulation to a maximum. I have also lowered the temperature in the room during light out hours. I have reduced it from 24 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius. This I did to keep the spider-mites from reproducing. They can't reproduce and spread unless humidity get lower than 60% and they also hate wind, so my task so far has been to stop them from reproducing while I waited for the real weapons to arrive from Hong-Kong (Ozone generator) and also a European Union country (diatomaceous earth and pyrethrin)

Today I spread around 100 grams of diatomaceous earth powder over the plant's canopy. I did this right before lights out. The entire plants are now covered in white powder. Looks kinda freakish - like ghost plants. I will let this powder do it's job during the 12 hours lights out, then when lights come on again, I will shake the plants a little to get away the worst of it - so the plants can do photosynthesis. I am not sure, but I think this thick layer of dust may block the light a little :)

The pyrethrin I sprayed on my clones to kill off whatever remains of spider-mites are on them. Then I covered them as well in a layer of DE-powder. Since the clones are in vegg, I don't mind using real poison on them. The flowering plants however - My goal is not to necessarily kill off the spider mites infestation entirely, but to keep them down so I can reach harvest without losing much yield. Then afterwards I plan to sterilize the entire grow-room before I re-build it and set up my new 32 plant hydroponic system.

After letting this powder work for a day or 3, I will shock treat the room with 24 hours of high concentrated ozone. That will make most of the remaining mites explode. That's fun - We like explosions

Let's waiting to see the final results, hope won't hurt the plants:circle-of-love:

Thank you so much for your support:thanks:

Just pulled the trigger on a 320 to upgrade my 900 in my flower tent. Can't wait to see how much of an increase in yield I get. :circle-of-love::peace:

I use more than a Mars in my flower tent not that it means a whole lot because certain plants still sit in certain spots due to height. But hey check out what happened to this blue widow in the back of my tent under 2 Mars 300s.

Mars 300 can cover 1.5'x1.5' grow area, and yes two are enough for 80cmx80cm grow tent:high-five:
But I would recommend Mars Pro II 80, it powerful than Mars 300, better quality. even though have problem will easier to fix.:circle-of-love:
