Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

We only made one sample, and what to gather ideas about it,we still need some adjustment. So we do not need testor so far....thanks for your offer.:high-five:
Very interesting.
I'd be interested to see the results between the two. Considering I bought two Pro II Epistar models not long ago I'd like to see if these would be a better investment. It appears that the size the light covers in comparison to its size is better than the other models.
Any chance you want to give me one to test out for you? ;) hahaha

Lol I was only joking Sara ;)

I think it looks good. It has more than one way to mount it which is great, especially for smaller spaces. The fact that it's silent is awesome for stealth and the part I'm most interested in with this light.
I'm not sure I can add any suggestions but I do like the design

I confirmed with our engineer, this light can hang this way,you can choose the angle.

That's something new allright. Is it a function for adjusting the angle I can see on the back side?

What more can you tell us? What spectrum will the lamps be and so on? It look very small which is useful.

That is very useful. An option I previously have achieved by using 4 yoyo's per lamp. I like it! I like that it's fanless also. Good for people who need to keep the levels down. I live far away from people so I do not have such concerns. But even I can see the advantages of a silent lamp. The constant static fan-sound can drive you insane. I know because I did a grow in a one-room apartment once :) That was quite challenging for the mind. Never again.

Do you have any idea what the pricerange will be in and how they perform compared to HPS? I know we can not compare directly

:circle-of-love:I know your feeling, the same as the AC sounds at night...for this light the Aluminum shell will help with the heat dissipation:bravo:Soundless will be good to use for indoor growing.:cheer:
We didn't make the final adjustment yet,so we do not have price range yet.:high-five:compare to HPS....i'm sure it will work better than the HPS:volcano-smiley:

Hopefully it works better then the aluminium you use on you led light bars cause I ran the bar 48 and they seem to get way to hot. I know you say it's normal for them to hit 135f but I find that's way to hot for my liking.

Grow bar,the chips will release heat, and the heat will transmit to the aluminum shell, and it's narrow long rectangle shape.the aluminum shell dissipate the heat outside and cool down the light,so when you touch the grow bar surface, you will feel it's hot,but it will not raise up the room temperature too much,as the aluminum heatsink will easily cool down:volcano-smiley:
Most lights which without out fans are using the aluminum heat sink design, this material work good to dissipate heat.
For the new design light, the design is different, and they use CREE and OSRAM chips, and the the main "boday" use aluminum material.:high-five:

Nice setup!
I'm wondering where you got those grates the pots are sitting on? I've been looking for something exactly like that

It was a build a shelving unit. You build cubes with the grates and some weird corner pieces that don't hold. Grabbed it at a garage sale for 5.00. Never built the cubes. Had other intentions from the beginning.
