Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

So many branches.:thumb:
Great for beginners and it's awesome weed. All around good plant for exp or beginners . Good yields also. I've noticed the vine nodes grow alot faster than other plants I've grown. Here's a couple pics of my other ones that are the same strain

:goodjob:You really did a amazing job,i'm sure you will get great great yield.:cheer:
Yea I'll explain what's going on. These were clones that was budding when I got em. Bout two weeks in. Long story made short. Never grow with anyone !! So all my cuts was bud. So hence had to re root and re veg . Wouldn't be an easy task for a beginner but I always share so it is . U ever wanna know I'll let ya know how to. But one thing for sure. The reveg of these plants has been a learning experience. A very good one . If u see the tops I have, are literally countless on my plants . It's amazing the ways I've been able to train them to the best of my ability. The reveg after two weeks just makes countless vines nodes and when they come out OMG. I wish I had more time . Imma veg till the first week of March then bloom a couple months . But I'm excited to see how big they do get. I think reveg is the new shit !! So many nodes and so small? Imagine the possibilities?? And Yea I got clones out my ass if I want them haha

Really if you wanted a light just to have a flower spectrum you could swap out the diodes to have more reds for flower or more blues for veg but I wouldn't want to run just a flower spectrum with the leds. The difference between leds and the hps is that with the hps you constantly get a fuller spectrum with more radiant heat which makes the uptake of nutrients more effective. With a pure "veg spectrum" you would run into uptake issues in the form of cal/mag issues. Full spectrum is the best way to grow and yes IMHO the switches are more so a waste than anything personally I would rather not have switches and see extra fans in the light for better heat displacement.
As for what I was saying about the pro80 the appeal of them for me anyways was that in my limited amount of space having 2-4 of them to properly cover my area would just be a waste of light and a lot of heat to vent out. Not only that but hanging the light higher for a better coverage would give me a less par value which opens the door to fox tailing and fluffier buds.
We shall see though. :Namaste:

:circle-of-love:Most growers like to turn on both switches from seedling to harvest, they get better result compare with only turn on one switch.:Namaste:
Our Mars Pro II Epistar series, each of the switch can control the fans, and can only turn one of them on,it will not affect the light, unless Mars II or Reflector series,if only turn on Growth is no problem, but only turn on Bloom,it will not be enough fans to cool the light.(though Mars II Bloom switch also control part of the fans):Namaste:

:circle-of-love:Right now only the Mars Pro II series can do that no matter you turn on the Growth or Bloom switch, all the fans will work.We always keep explain this to our customers in our thread or other social media,i will try to find it those posts..it will take little time, there are more than 30000posts....:volcano-smiley:
With the series 2 lights each switch controls each fan or a set of fans also a design flaw. If the light is on then all the fans should be on simple :)

That's an awesome job man, I've never had to reveg but I hear it's hard to get them optimal again

I've done re-vegg some times and it's cool. I did not notice any difference in quality from the first run and the yield was almost as good as first run. Not sure it would work well with my current setup but in scrog it was really cool

First time grower. I'm currently in a 4x2 tent using two old Mars 300's for 3 plants. I want to get an additional tent 4x4 or 5x5 and buy additional led's. I'd like to use the old Mars 300's in the 4x2 for clone and/or early vegging. My question is what is the difference with the Mars 2 vs reflector series? First the Mars 2 were 5 watt LED's and non switchable veg bloom. And the reflectors were only 3 watt LED's with a switch. But I think I read that the new Mars 2 have switches now and the reflectors come in 5 watt LED's now. What are the differences now? And is there a way to recognize the model (3 vs 5 watt, switch) on Amazon or eBay? Also are they daisy chain compatable? Also any input on the Mars pro or cree. Thank you.
