Sara question I have 2 300 watt led lights off eBay. Your were so nice and your customer service was outstanding. Anyways, do you think that light is good for 2.5x2 5x5' ? Thought I read somewhere it was but triple checking never hurt. Think 600 watts led was good for 3x3 x 5.5' area. Currently hitting 35000 in flower stage for lux meter reading . Hope all is good thinking about adding another 300 watt in tent?

You can make it according to your needs and your growing area.The good thing is that,you can just get one or two or three pcs of them first,then when you need to enlarge your growing room or change to a bigger or small grow tent,you can add more or speparate the lights
Yeah,the Mars Pro II Epistar80 draw watt and price is close to Mars II 400,but the built-up and the performance is much better than Mars II 400.Mars Pro II Epistar 80 with upgraded power supply, fans and chips,has vents around the panel,it run cooler also.
Mars Pro II Epistar80 with less coverage than Mars II 400,but you can hang the light higher,then can get bigger coverage.

I still think the new little pros should of been at least a 5x5 or 6x6 cluster formations and covered at least a 60cm x 60cm in flower these seem like a lot of cash for half a foot less coverage of the 400w.

What's the best option for a 4x4 grow? I'm so lost because Mars Hydro has so many options! I want to replace my hps system so bad. I'm over my electricity bill but I want to get good results.

Is the reflector the way to go or MarsII? I've read so many different posts on here that now I'm lost on which to get and why. Somebody school me on LED XD

Hey I would go with mars 2 I d make sure you have around 900 watt for that 4 area . Hope that helps if I'm wrong please someone correct me..

FYI
I had a mars II 1200 in a 4x4 tent.
There were lots of shadows as it's footprint wasn't quite big enough for the 4 plants I was growing.
I upgraded and am now running the Mars pro II Epistar 320. The footprint and penetration is much much better.
I feel as though I have enough light now.

The first pics,she got really big leaves.You should try our Mars Pro II series,plants grow crazy under that light.
Some of our customer did side by side growing with Mars Pro II series and the Reflector series,the Reflector series side growing slower.

29/22 days from seed. Under a 144x5 Both are being flipped to 12/12 tonight.

These are my other 2 plants, 2x led both are at 30 days from seed...
Just showing real world comparison of different lights. The lights draw similar watts from the wall during veg and bloom, but there was an obvious difference in overall cost for my other lights (3x the cost of the Mars light)
Just wanted others to see what an average grower is getting under similar conditions/feeding/care etc. take it easy and happy growing.

2 when did you purchased
3 pics of your tent,because this is the tent,so you can take one picture with the light off,and point out the location of the problem part,and a picture witht the light on,so we can see it clear.

I wast sure where to post this. I tried to email mars hydro but have not heard back. I recently purchased two tents a 2x2 and a 4x4 Directly from mars website and first i got to say thanks shipping was fast and discreet. The tents went together great.
My problem is with light leaks both tents have them but the 4x4 is the worst it has them bad around the zippers and in some of the stitching and then a little bit larger then a pin hole in the fabric. do they all have a little light at the zippers? The fabric seems great, maybe i just got one that's not as tight sewn. Is there an email i can reach you at. thank you

For a 4'x4' area,you can go with Mars Pro II Epistar 320,you will get good result from it,it's with upgraded chips and techs.You can check on Deville's grow journal:

We will check out for him with our factory.Yes,prevent zipper leak is very important,we are keeping find better method to do it.Now we add flap above the zipper from inside with the same material of the inner tent.

Not sure about that pin hole, but make sure that the flap behind the zipper is flat and not kinked. I had a similar issue with a different brand and found that when I played with the flap some the tent would no longer leak

2pcs Mars300 in a 2.5'x2.5' is no problem,it will be around 43.2w/sq meters Mars 600 coverage is around 2'x2.5',around 270w,sure,you can add another Mars 300 in it.If the temperature is high,make your exhuast system works well.

Yes,Mars II with better built-up compare with Mars300 or 600,and have better intensity.

Yes,the Mars pro II Epistar320 with better built-up and higher power&intensity.Also the Mars II 1200,if you hang the light closer to the plant,the coverage will be smaller

perfect... you treat others as they treat you? lol anyways yes my temp in tent when lights are on is holding around 24c-22celcius. i could trigger somthing up I think I might buy another 300 watt shortly and see what happen will need some more yolos

Mars300 and Mars 600 ,the number of the model,didn't mean the true watt of the light,it's just the model name,and how we and our customer recognise it.Mars 600 true watt is around 270w,Mars 300 true watt is around 135w.
You mean you want to put 3pcs of Mars300 in your 2.5'x2.5 growing tent? How about the grow tent temperature now?
