Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

COB we drive 550mA, we have other lights drive higher current. COB is harder to emission heat, so we can not drive very high. or the light will be weak soon.
Who's using COB LEDs' in their product, and who is driving their LEDs at the highest mA ???:peace:

this morning when I begin to work, I think I can get something from trewalker tell us how he grown with our LED, and we are here to help him grow well together, but I get nothing.:( when I can solve this problem? I want a happy weekend.

Please have a happy weekend. Forget about work... and if you have to think about it know I am still smiling and we "three amigos" :cheesygrinsmiley: will show how your lights work. We know what we are doing and if the lights are performers we will show it.

Have a good weekend.

Hi guys, I'm a noob, only registered to ask jon privately about his lamp. Turns out, I cannot send PMs until I've had at least 50 posts, damn it. Jon, would you be able to send me link to whatever website you purchased your lamp? Cheers, I'm also looking forward to seeing the results with the Chinese lamps here, if any of these work (at least 0.7g/watt), I will surely try them. Cheers!

Good news, the rest lights has arrived warehouse, so most of our led grow light has stock in USA now. we will give some discount soon. welcome to contact with me to get quotation.:welcome:

Ok cool i see the website of theirs, but they only seem to have one type of LED light, and that light has got two modes (120W veg/160W flo) unlike yours. Jon, i saw your journal and your LEDs are obviously different (both use Cree diodes). What am I doing wrong?

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

I just read back. I think that there are really two threads going. I would like to help TreWalker but it should not be in this thread. Is there a journal? If not please start one so we can help. There are so many variables it is staggering so the more information you give the better you can be helped.

For the folks worried about specs... they are not important if the light does not perform.

When the light performs the specs become important.

Let's wait for the performance

I have NO plans of helping the Chinese promote lights that do not work, and try to rip-off other folks. They never would answer me when I ask mult itimes why my plants would NOT grow under their LED's but exploded in growth under a couple CFL's. Other than to post random links to other forums If you want to promote those lights Buckshot be my guest, but leave me out of it.

My lights are they're last model,They have Helios diodes, the new ones are Cree, they were discontinued because they were to expensive to buy for alot of growers($1500) so they came up with the new design, they believe that more smaller lights are the way to go for max coverage and I agree with them, you can daisy chain 6 of those lights together and plug them all into one plug, we gotta stop talking about them here on Sara's thread though bro, Sorry Sara:)

wow hostile much? i dont know the story ,but it seems like sara wants to help, theres a language barrier to work around, i understand frustration and misunderstanding, but being hostile and so on is not how things get resolved, as a tester (this is not my first rodeo) patience and willingness to work with ppl is important, i find most companys will work to keep their reputation, good and customers happy, sponsors here pay to be here and stand to make good fwd motion if they are recieved well, i have seen some bend over backwards and become the forum favorite (think bpn) and others well lets say not so well ,i believe you will get more bees with flowers than vinegar, just my 2 cents

Well said BID, these lights might not be were they need to be yet but it appears Sara wants to get them there, giving a few away for free to experienced growers to test out is a good way to do that, you cant get any better advice than from the feedback from people that use them. Reps to you Sara for what you are doing here, im sure we will all figure it out by working together:)

PS: btw Trewalker, my lights are designed in the states but they are made in China, 95% of all led panels are made in China and 95% of all led diodes are also made in China. The reason for this is its ALOT cheaper to hire a factory in China to build your lights to your specs than it is to buy a factory and pay your own employees to build them.Small companies cannot compete with the factories because they dont have the money to buy the parts in large quantities so they cant compete with the prices. Its like comparing a mom and pop hardware store to Home Depot.Just about all the diodes and other parts are already in China.Theres alot of led companies that claim they're lights are 100% american made or wherever else, most of them are flatout lying.

Hell Yea! There are plenty of people with LED Experience who would gladly help out.

If you actually wish help... post a journal.

I don't wish to promote lights that don't work either. I have no idea what is coming to me and I have not asked cause it doesn't matter. Whatever it is will work or it won't. I will honestly write about what happened.

So who is preventing you from ordering the lights then ? Sara even sells in lots, so by several at a time and show folks how it is done, versus just typing on the forum.
I am not going to be a Goober for the Chinese myself.
