Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

:circle-of-love:Please do not worry,the information is correct.:high-five:
As Canada ETL Certification requested before,we did not have switches on the lights.:high-five:Since the Canada ETL Certification rules changed, our lights are with switches now.:high-five:
Can anyone confirm this too. This is from the company I bought the light from up here in the good ol north.....

"These are the Mars II units, the issue is slightly complex due to strict Canadian electrical regulations To pass the approvals we had to remove the switches on the unit, we also had to upgrade the drivers and panel on the unit to pass Canadian approvals as well."

anyone else run into this in Canada??

Hopefully they will run nicely. I've heard good things about this company as far as customer service and support. And they came recommended by a few Major growers here.

Peaceful blazing...

:circle-of-love:May i know you want to repair it by yourself or you want to send to our repair center to repair?:high-five:

Hello Sara! I can do this repair myself.
I sent some pictures into the contact email and contact info.
The only problem is I cannot find my previous orders. The website has been changed.
I was told that if I give my contact info i can be found.

:Namaste:Thanks for your support.:thanks:
wow, only two days, your plants already like our lights,i'm glad to hear that.:bravo:
As custom clearance requested,we need to put "LED" outside of the box. Please do not worry about that,LED industry varies, they can not know it's growing light.:high-five:
In order to protect our lights,we use EPE material and protected the 4 corners. But we knew that some deliver staff did not put our lights gently, instead, they throw it on the ground roughly.:Namaste:We are keeping upgrade the package as well as our products.:Namaste:
Add more bubble wrap may be a good idea,i will tell our factory about that. Thanks for your advice,we are very appreciated.:thanks:
Just want to say thanks again to marshydro. The light has been in two days and already I can see an improvement in growth speed! A couple things I do want to say to Sara and any other reps here. The packaging was ok but not insanely padded, if you've order a product as fragile and expensive as an led you want it to be shipped wrapped up nice and safe. The corners and face of the led had a little cover but maybe wrapping it in bubble wrap or something will make it that bit more secure (I noticed the box it came in was almost falling apart this is why I say more padding inside to save light) shipping was awesome other then that, came exactly three days after buying and that's the other side of the world also the box had next to no print on it (meaning no one but customs sees it's a grow light) Also maybe including a better stock hanging system. When I first hung it up I was scared the steel wire would snap, I still sort of am! I would still like to know if I'm safe using both spectrums during the flower period of the plant as well.
Thanks again marshydro!!

May i know from which website you bought your light?:high-five: Please do not worry, we will help you with that.:Namaste:
I have done product reviews and bought 2 lights and 2 tents from the company and when I sign in, it no longer shows I have purchased or reviewed any of the items. They changed the website but now I cant find my info on warranty. I need my order # s.. I do not know what else to do other than e mail the support link, provide pictures and hope that we can figure this one out. I love my lights. They have more than paid for themselves.

:goodjob:Yes,contact information also work, but order NO or Tracking NO will be better.:thanks:
Do you still have your box it came in with the tracking number on it? If not just give your name and address and phone that it was shipped to, and they will probably be able to find you. I know one of mine, I didnt have the info on it anymore, and they were able to find me.

:circle-of-love:Hi wobble. You owned 2pcs Mars II 400,right?May i know your haning distance for each light?
Mars II & Reflector belong to different series, both of them upgraded from 3w to 5w leds.:Namaste:
Usually multiple lights is easier to install, and cover the growing room nicely than one light.:high-five:The gap is wider on Reflector than MarsII,so Mars II will have stronger intensity on average area.:bravo:
hey everyone,

we just recently had 2 x mars pro 2 400w in a 4x3x6 tent. done 2 runs and harvest was great.

wanted to slimline everything a set up a bit more minimal, so sold the 2 mars pros to some friends and purchased a Reflector 192.

now, reason being is, not only is it just 1 light that covers the same space, but its quieter than 2 lights and less heat and judging but the specs, and the new upgraded 5w Epistars in them, why is it that our new grow's yeild is only about half the amount. using the same clones, same nutrients same everything.

We feel like we have downgraded :(

If the new Reflectors have the same 5w leds as the mars pro 2 series, whats going on?

Cheers

I agree with you that it's also depends on the strains.Every strain is unique, even they grow in the totally same circumstance, they may have different results.:high-five:
Wow, I too would like to have some info on this. I own two reflectors. One with the 5w and another w 3w bulbs. I have decent yields. Depends on if that strain likes the spectrum the light is throwing I guess.

You know well about lights.:goodjob:Multiple lights enable grower install their lights flexible,it usually cover every corner nicely.:high-five:Like you said Mars II with stronger intensity compared with Reflector series.
Thanks for your help.:thanks:
Maybe because with two separate panels, you were able to provide better - and more even - coverage throughout your grow room? And you'd also be benefiting from the "third-light effect," I suppose.

IIRC, the Reflector series is more of a "hobbyist" product than one intended for serious commercial production. Perhaps it gives up intensity in favor of a larger footprint? IDK. Sara, the company's representative on the forum, does not work weekends. But she is located in China, so it is actually almost midnight (local) there. She will probably be around in about nine hours or so and should be able to answer your questions/concerns. She goes out of her way to help customers and explain things.

:goodjob:2pcs Mars Pro II Epsitar320 will be great in your 4'x8'grow tent.:cheertwo:If you wanna 2pcs,i can send you a coupon code, you can buy directly from our official website: mars hydro led grow light-Epistar 320S :bravo:
wow, there will be a cannabis sea in your home.:goodjob:
So as I start to set up another led grow room.im already running the Mars 4'9*4'9 tent with the epistar 320. And will be setting up another 4*8 Mars tent. I was thinking of running 2 Mars epistar 320 in that tent. Does anyone else have any better lighting solutions for this size tent.
