Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

First you can hang it about 3 feet,and you can lower it gradually.:high-five:I'm glad that i can help a little bit.:Namaste:

the numbers are in on my harvest!!! I got all this from one mars II 700 in my grow tent and a mars pro II 320 in the closet

I just got a weight on all 4 of the plants I harvested in this closet grow and the 2 in the scrog in the grow tent....

from the 4 in the closet grow

1x AK-49 auto from vision seeds - 89.1 grams
1x black berry Kush auto from Dutch passion - 55.4 grams
1x girl scout cookies auto from fast buds - 43.4 grams
1x sodk X alien auto from mephisto genetics - 89.9 grams

from the 2 in the scrog in the grow tent

1x Chem city blues auto from mephisto genetics - 79.1 grams
1x Cream Mandarine xl auto from sweet seeds - 85.7 grams

for a total of 442.6 grams or 15.6 oz. just shy of a pound! from 6 autoflowers and that's not including all the trim and some of the buds that were just to small to trim that I left on a plate about enough bud to fill half a jar if it gets trimmed which it will lol

to be honest I was hoping for a good yield but dam I got way more then I thought I would this is with out a doubt my biggest yield ever! so far out of all the plants in this grow I have to say the Cream Mandarine xl auto from sweet seeds is my #1 favorite followed by the Chem city blues auto from mephisto genetics so it looks like my top #2 were both grow in the scrog in the tent the other ones are great but those 2 I like the most they came out just perfect

I had more of the black berry kush not in the pic that got smoked which was about another jar so I filled a whole case of mason jars!

Well I started mine directly under the 400w what I did was hang the light at 65-70cm and then lowered it to 60cm when I noticed them starting to stretch a bit. I always over crowd my tent and my plants stretch to much fighting each other for light. Check out my journal it has all the info of my grow on it.
Remember it really is all trial and error if at first you don't succeed try try again.

Despite Spart's dislike of CFL's, I too use them to start my seeds as I had better results that way than putting them straight under the LED. In saying this though, I don't have 65" of space above my plants at any time which I believe is the reason the LED is too much for my young girls. If you do have the kind of space that allows for that sort of distance then I would say listen to Spart. If you check out his journal you will see his results speak for themselves and his girls are much nicer than mine. My space limitations are a huge crutch at the moment

Hi smokesara can I ask what you reckon would be the best led for my grow tent. It measures 51X39X17 (height x length X width measured in inches) or 1.30m X 1m X 45cm . Will always have two plants.
