True. I thought you were griping about the different warranty length due to your having chosen to purchase your item from eBay instead of their actual website, and were attempting to get it turned into a two-year one.
My apologies if I misunderstood.
No not griping, just wanting to clarify and understand. Seeing as part of my daily work deals with Australian Consumer Law I'm familiar with the rules that govern how companies are allowed to act. From my initial understanding of SmokeSaras explanation, it did not fit with the way consumer law works here in Aus. A business cannot sell a product on two different mediums and give different guarantees. If the product is the same, so is the guarantee no matter on eBay or web or retail outlet.
I believe MarsHydro to be a reputable company and would not be breaking laws like that so I wished to clarify so as to not misunderstand.
I am unable to see the ebay page as it is no longer listed, so I cannot verify from the purchase listing.
I don't mind if people misunderstand or make mistakes, we all do it as human beings. Especially myself. However I really don't like being accused of things by people that have nothing to do with the situation and therefore not enough knowledge or information to have a valued comment. It's one thing I hate about forums, as great as they are, so many people are so quick to jump on others and chastise.
We as humans need to be a little more tolerating and not so quick to judge.
I hope this clears things up
