Now don't get me wrong, the (4) 600w old style I have seems to be some good units and were seemingly a good deal (1 for 130) but in order for me to cover a 5x5 I needed the 4 which I'm not sure if it really does cover that area as it should. The cost was 520ish. I recently purchased a nanolux 630w and it gives off as much heat as the (4) Mars unit but based* on the spectrum chart, it has a better and wider array of light than LED or Hps. For the cost of 620. I may just use my Mars for side lighting or possibly purchase their 144s as side lighting so if they do go out, I don't have to worry much since they aren't my main lighting.

I Got my Mars panels back!! it took 15 days from the day i shipped it to them to when i got it at my front door not too bad at all. Not only are the diodes replaced but it looks like they also cleaned the glass on my marsII 700 that i sent in also. I know there are always going to be different experiences but MarsHydro has always been very easy to work with for me and this time they were fast, kind and fixed the issue properly.

Hope to just add more info on a great company and in no way want to downplay others issues but do want to make sure ppl know that there are many ppl with these lights that seem to love them and the companys service, cheers!

Got to agree with you, I have 11 of there lights, most close to 2 years old, had my first problem a couple months ago, I chose to repair myself and Sarah had my parts to me in 6 days and 1st pm to her on a Friday. Customer service has been good for me. They do grow good bud too.:volcano-smiley:

I've only had the pro for about 5-6 months, having no issues with that panel right now just had a couple of diodes go black and start bubbling at around 1 year on my 144x5 and MarsII 700

Well I've had my pro epi 160 for about 80 days and I've already replaced 1 driver .
And now another 1 has gone out . I, still waiting on sara to get back to me .
She read my post on wed or Thursday because she liked them. But never asked for my address . I need another driver .
Really I need 4 of them so when the others go bad I'll already have them . I'm not very happy right now with Mars hydro

Yea I have been reading your posts and def feel for you man. I've read some pretty bad stuff here but have personally only had smooth good interactions with them. I always want to put forward as much info as possible good or bad so I'll make sure to keep everyone posted on my Mars pro light

That really does suck man I would be a bit annoyed if I had the same issue so fast from getting it fixed and then kinda getting snuffed. Like I say def don't want to down play things but give a different perspective, hope yours is a freak case and Mars can get things straight

Other than the driver issues the light seems powerful . I just am still, learning how to grow with it . My plants stay really short .
So next time I'll be raising the panel about 40 in off the top of them
