I just took down 2 timewrecks that were under the 240 x 5w Mars II's and there isnt a nug on either of them that made it to the hash pile, further I have no heat issues, Curso has a 240 x 5w with no cooling at all and also has no heat issues. if your doing a scrog style grow where theres only 12 inches of canopy to penetrate the 3w panels will work fine but if your growing big plants that have 2-3 feet of canopy to penetrate then go with the 5w panels.

How far do you keep your lights from top on canopy?

Man I'm happy to hear you say that. I just ordered one of the 5w and it was a hard decision for me as I have 3 of the 3w and love them but hoped I would like the 5w even better.....:circle-of-love:

The 3w's are fantastic lights to veg with IMO. Technology says the 5w is a better light, things have advanced since the 3w model was released. I learned something from Smoke2J's on here that influenced my veg light choice. He said something about vegging under half the amount of light you flower in to get really explosive results. So I went with a weaker light source for veg. He was 100% right. The plants really take off. I think you'll be happy with what you have going Dennise ;)

Thanks Curso I do feel a lot better after reading these last few post. The tent I will be using her in is only 4.5' tall but I am getting pretty good at LST'ing and being able to keep em' where I want them but certainly thanks for the heads up...:thumb:

Agreed. If you want a Budmaster get it direct from China without the Budmaster logo and pay less than half the price!

Anybody know when Sara is going to be back around? The 10th has come and gone now, and the order I placed 4 weeks ago now is still processing?!? I'm trying to be patient, but it's hard when none of your messages or emails get a response. I wish I could say I was experiencing the excellent service almost everyone talks about TopLED having on this site, but this is just getting ridiculous...
 
Just wanted to share this... Before Top LED I was running 1000w (400w CMH and 600w HPS) of HID in my flower tent and 400w CMH in my veg tent, and on average my electric bills were around $260-280 per month.... Now after Top LED, and replacing all of the HID with 3x Mars II 80x5w in my flower tent and 1x 144x3w in my veg tent my electric bill with both tents running is only $140...

Top LED lights are saving me over $120-140 per month over HID!!!!

Just that alone is enough to sell me... and did I mention my buds are frostier, tastier and more potent!!!

Hey Planetary, I believe she is back today. She is really good about getting back to people and keeping her promises. I imagine that after a 2 week holiday, she probably is buried with emails and orders and things to catch up on but I have always heard back from her, even if a day or 2 past when I personally expected it. Keep your hopes up :) BTW you will love the lights... I am extremely happy with mine :)

I understand that it would be frustrating to not have any emails or correspondence returning. I would say if you don't hear anything about a tracking number or shipping information end of Tuesday like Sara said would happen. Then I would get worried.

I just ordered 5 of the 400w led mars2. She told me that they would ship Monday and I would receive tracking information Tuesday.
