Hi geopv, you can use MarsII1600 only. It's enough for 4'x4' area. If you feel the power is short, you can add other lights later.

hey guys, kinda new to led growing. I have 2 mars 600w old model, i'm using for vegging. i ordered a mars ii 1600 for flower. im growing in a laundry room of 5*8*8 growing on a 4x4 table. people here with these would you use just the 1600 or have all 3 at once?

Well the mars 2 1600 will cover a 4x4 area approximately. That being said you will see roughly 45 watts a square foot. That's a pretty good number. But more can be better. Especially if you don't have any reflective surfaces. And it will alow you to adjust to the plant better using all 3. That's over a 1000 watts actual power

A pair of mars 2 400s would do nicely. Also look into the older 60x5 300 watt units. You could add 2 of those to your current lights for around 120$ they are 68 on eBay from the mars hydro store with shipping and pull about 140 watts of actual power and use 5 watt LEDs. That would put you at roughly 450 actual watts really cheap. 75 watts a square foot for under your budget.

Hi dear Mars family merry X-mas to all

Okay this is about as off topic as it gets but there is so many good people will the world of knowledge to shear in here so here goes.

So my stepmoms sister have gotten bone cancer and it has spread to the lungs and lever. shes at therminal stage they just told me yesterday at christmas. my stepmom was so sad. she asked if i could help her make some oil for her sister. i have only made iso and hbo oil for my own getting high tendensies and stabilizing my mental issues so im for the most a sativa guy, Im collecting some indica strains now for the perpose of making some oils for her. if anyone have any good readings on the subject they thing i will get some good knowledge from plz let me know. i gave my self a week to collect a big indica stash and reading up on medicinal purposes for cancer patients before my stepmom has to go visit her again. so if any good advice just hit me with it people And yes i know its not gonna cure her or nothing but could it just keep the nausea down and maybe help a bit on the lost appetite and maybe a bit of pain releif it will be worth a try. best regards to everyone and merry X-mas

So thanks for the suggestions on strains, links and the PM's who pointed me to a real good forum in here. I went to work ASAP i have made her a small portion of RSO just 2,5 grams but its some heavy stuff and she got zero tolerance. So it should be enough for a couple of weeks i hope and i cleaned up and packed down my vaporizer and bagged up tree baggies for her. one with outdoor grown organic real weak mellow pot i thought for an easy startup. then a medium bag with some very fruity early harvested indica dominant hybrid (unfortunately unknown strain from RQS) And the last baggie is some white widow harvested at week 9 of flower so not to heavy either. should give me about 4 weeks i think to hook her up for real with some more medical suited strains. hope it will relief her a bit. Well my stepmoms will pick it up tomorrow and go to her place. told her to try out the vapor the first tree four days getting safe with the reactions from the weed. then starting up on 25mg RSO x3 a day and then we will take it from there.

Any thoughts on the subject still much appreciated

Can't help hitting my self a bit in the head for spending like five months of growtime looking in to spidermites during two flower sessions in stead of only the one that had the infestation now in the back mirror i must say. well not much to do now other than grow
