Question when they say hang 18-24 inches above canopy is that for when veg and bloom are on or just veg or just bloom. This light is so heavy I don't want to keep moving around lol. I have it about 30 inches above plants with veg only on. I don't feel I need to have bloom on right now. I am so worried I am going to burn the hell out of my girls. I have never used a real LED other than my little old mars 60x5 300w

Leave it there for a couple days. Then move to 28 then to 24. I use a ratchet hanger so it is easier to raise and lower.

I agree use a Rachet set of hangers it makes things a lot easier. But to be honest your plants will tell you before you burn them as long as you keep an eye on them and have a fan blowing across the face of the LED. If yiu get too close the light will split into colour and you will see the spots. If you are too far away you'll just get stretch. Anywhere in between and play around you'll figure out what they want as they will react to the light, stretch, wilt etc.

I wish I could say all the online cannabis communities were like this, but my experience is that community is like no other!!! The people genuinely care about each other and the Mods do a GREAT job in keeping things in order if the start to get out of hand. It doesn't seem to happen too often but when it does it is dealt with swiftly!!!!

I love the "family" I have found here. Here is where I can share my experiences and get help from others. It is hard to even go to a hydro shop to get the kind of help you get here.

I really enjoy everyone on this Forum.
Most everyone is nice and very helpful.
Makes it a joy to read what everyone is doing and how they do it by sharing pictures and etc.
My wife keeps telling my to quit worrying about my new grow room and just enjoy it and let it do its thing.

I wish I could say all the online cannabis communities were like this, but my experience is that community is like no other!!! I agree, this thread and the people in it are fantastic and extremely helpful. I'm a very proud member of the Mars LED growing family, that's for sure. I am a long-time member with 3000+ posts and many growing journals on other sites, and would have to agree that this site is the most genuine and troll-free. People here are great and I'm glad I made the jump (which I specifically did for this very thread). I check this thread everyday and love seeing people's updates of how their plants are doing under these great lights. I'm only 7-10 days away from harvesting my 6'x3' SCROG under ~1000W of Mars LED's, so I'll have lots of harvest pics and final weigh-ins to post to this thread soon.

I tend to agree with your wife. Weeds have been thriving for centuries with or with out us.
It's a joy watching plants grow and seeing how they react to our pampering, poking, prodding and pruning.

I would think the veg would be less watts than the bloom. But either way I'm in love my Temps are staying at 73-75 with RH of 60% I have it about 35 inches away and will lower if needed but I really don't think I will have to to much. Anyway thanks for awesome customer service and a awesome light

you are right, Gnarl, if someone forces the foot system to me, I will go crazy. so I choose to learn the conversion.1feet=0.3048m It's the easiest way

You know they tried to force the metric system on us here in the US a few years ago until we finally said, if you want to sell us something you have to learn to speak our language and the attempt to teach old dogs new tricks suddenly ceased.

It would be nice if you would also include standard measurements with your metric ones for us old dogs. The centigrade temp readings on US remotes are not going to fly. You need to provide us with a switch giving us the option to choose between both C and F..

It's the price of doing business internationally.

I learned to type Tagalog, but don't expect me to pronounce any of the words correctly or have a clue what a Filipino is saying over the phone talking ten thousand words a minute.

Mars -Hydro hasn't gotten to the point where all of their instruction sheets have to be printed in ten different languages, but that day is coming if you continue to expand your market.

Here in the USA due to the rising percentage of Hispanics most of our product labeling is in both Spanish and English. I know how to say"fajitas, margaritas and senoritas" which gets me everything I need in life.

I don't know what I am going to do if I'm in China for your New Year..... smile a lot and hope I don't piss any one off I guess.
