Mars-Hydro DWC 1 Plant 4x4 Scrog

Well we have lift off on Green Crack. This strain is part of my private stock. I enjoy this strain any time of the day, but most would say it an early day smoke.

Green Crack F/F
Genotype 60% Sativa / 40% Indica
THC 18%
CBD 0.1%
Indoor flowering 60–65 days
Indoor yield 10–15+ oz/yd2
Outdoor yield 35–106+ oz/plant
Outdoor height 3–10+ ft

This isn’t the first time I had Green Crack in the pot, and slowly becoming one of my favorites. She's easy to grow, doesn't need much attention, and produces good and abundant weed in record time. It is important to emphasize her 'FAST' nature, which makes her a successful crop in any climate or environment. Her speed hinders possible fungus or pest attacks, and guarantees first-class results.

She develops into mid-sized plants with Sativa-looking leaves and internodes; her branches are long and her elongated leaves are quite sparse. This morphology allows for optimum growth as the plant is exposed to plenty of air and light while she's growing. Her abundant crops, full of healthy, extremely aromatic, bulky and sticky buds, are always reason for joy.

Fast Flowering Green Crack makes her presence felt wherever she is. She always takes center stage in any garden with her sassy, enveloping aroma that reaches deep. But this doesn't only occur while she's growing… when you taste her, a flavorful tidal wave invades your palate, producing great pleasure. Her relaxing and balanced effect due to her high THC levels (of up to 18%) is also worthy of mention due to its effectiveness in alleviating stress and tension.

Green Crack is a cannabis seed of distant origins that comes from a 1989 SSSC Skunk#1and an isolated Afghani cut. The result is a beautiful marijuana plant that grows very vigorously and that boasts amazing stability. Its structure, which reminds of a Christmas tree, is home to impressive amounts of buds. Resistant to mold and pests, it requires a short growing period indoors and responds best to dry, warm, sunny, temperate.

Great overall qualities

Green Crack is a cannabis hybrid with an aroma of exotic fruit and a flavor of citrus fruit, mango, pineapple, cedar and incense. It provides a pleasant, powerful, long-lasting, cerebral, invigorating, euphoric effect that true Skunk lovers will definitely enjoy.

I will post some images a little later.

Sounds amazing Tok! :high-five:
And that's quite the description right there :bravo:

Okay, I guess it time to get the ball rolling.

I have a portable RO until for my water:

PuroSmart High Flow RO System Home Water Treatment System

Capable of making 15 or 50 gallons of RO water a day (depending on model), and last about a year for me. Replaceable filter and carbon filter. If anyone wants an affordable RO system this is it, at about $95.00 on the zon.

Now that the seed has germinated she will stay in the glass a couple days to develop more roots before she will go in a 3 gallon bucket for 5 or six weeks under an LED Grow Bulb, cost about 10 bucks.

veg light - type.jpg

In the veg tent she will be on 24hour light cycle and only receiving
5ml Silica
250 ppm's of cal-magic
3ml of General Hydroponics Rapid Start
about 7ml of Hydro-guard

for solution.

That's it, for about 4 or 5 weeks.

Hey Tok. Are you missing your base here? I usually only feed water + bennies for a week or so when they first sprout. Do you feed the above for the first week or so and then feed the same + your base for 4-5 weeks?

Thanks for stopping by @GoogleGenie

I'll be documenting my readings; but you may be surprised how little nutrients I use in veg stage.

I get excellent results with nothing but 250 ppm's of cal-magic for about 5 weeks. I listed what else will go in the solution, but again, nothing else added will increase the ppm's.

I am going to show you how less ppm's during the beginning and middle of veg will be plenty enough to fill the net.

Every week for the next 5 weeks the only thing she is given is listed above.

I will surprise you with the way she looks, once she gets her roots established.

The slide show is about to begin.
I have every confidence that your plants will be amazing and you will blow us all away Tok :high-five:

Really looking forward to it. My brain is tingling already.

@GoogleGenie
I am hoping to show you something new, that you may want to consider on a future grow. There are many ways to cultivate this plant we love; I just want to show that most individuals growing may be using a lot more nutrients than needed to have successful grow.

Some strains do require a heavier feed, but there are not many.

It only takes a couple growers to follow along to prove this point.

Oh yes, to try it also.

So in the near future if you see explosive growth, just remember what I used to get there.

Good Morning all,

I decided to accelerate my plans with the appearance of some more roots. Last night she was placed in the starting bucket. I mix her solution to 248 ppm's and ph'd her to 5.9. She will need another week or so to develop more roots.
If you wondering about the additional light it's a little experiment I have going on for root development.

Interesting experiment Tok. Are you playing with a higher ratio of blue light?

I have a light I use for veg where you can toggle Flower mode to add more red light. I actually find better root development with a higher ratio of blue light so now i keep the flowering light off for Veg/younglings. I will be interested to see if you reach the same conclusion with your experiment.

I use hydroton and it can be challenging to develop a good early root system.
I experience the same challenge Tok, hydroton isn't the friendliest environment from young root. I have a few things I want to try and play with for this too. I hope this experiment produces a monster set of roots :high-five:

Yes, on the blue light.

I use hydroton and it can be challenging to develop a good early root system. So I have been playing around with portable red and blue lights, to introduce more blue or red light if I would like too. No, conclusive results yet, but time will tell. The info looks impressive, but we'll see.

These are the meters I am currently using.

How do you like your meters

Did you use the storage solution, and how often were you calibrating them?

Just wondering I looked at my information on the ph meter and it doesn't say anything, that's why I ask the above question.

Did you try to contact the company customer service?

Tok..
Yea I checked calibration once a month, never had any storage solution just tried to keep the little sponge damp in the cap for ph meter. I called the company but they told me to take it back to where I bought it, so called the grow shop and they told me to call the company :lot-o-toke: and its a two hour drive one way to go there so I just got another one and will see if the company will do something. My ec meter has been flawless haven't had any issues with it other then it takes its sweet ass time to give the final numbers lol
