Maine 4-Season Greenhouse Grow

So we had 17 days in July and 26 booked for August in the Cabin. People, in general, dig it. Guest remark today was "It's very dark and quiet!" Coming from light pollution into a place with none, plus no appliances or other noises or light, it messes with their senses....hopefully in a good way :) People are also digging the outdoor facilities (shower, outhouse, kitchen). I inwardly grimace when I hear "glamping", but I get the reason they use it. I like to think of it more as "simple living"...especially after a fiasco last Thursday....

Cottage guests message "no water!" ... it was a partially blown fuse from the wicked thunderstorm...water tank/switch was randomly turning on and off (and sometimes no water pressure... It was a $12 fuse to fix next day). They said they might have "to look for alternate accommodations that had consistent water"....inward I had a huge eye roll wondering what these people would do if...gasp...they actually lost water for a week...a month? ...but I was also smiling because the guests in the Cabin just remarked how cool it was to be in the storm (even with a leaky chimney)

I love this pic Blew. I'll bet on a nice calm night, you can hear a pin drop from 50 yards. Amazing man!

I had a guest leave a review last year saying it was "so peaceful except when the crows screamed"...guess coming from a city their first association is someone is getting murdered....hence a "murder of crows" ;)

Had another big branch from the Cali Dream break off/down....strapped it back up yesterday and it is looking okay...we'll see...the branches suddenly got loaded with flowers and weight....I spent some time today reinforcing them with pipe cleaners...I'll need to look at wrapping them soon...I shifted the White Bhutanese to the center of the high tunnel as well...she has about a foot left of headspace...photos later.

My outdoor girls aren't showing much in the way of flowers so far.....what are yours looking like blew?
The Cali Dream and the Mandala dramatically popped in the last week....the Cali branch was heavy when I was handling it. I'll post some pics later...

Highya BH,

My neighbor lady uses bamboo poles and pipe cleaners to hold branches from breaking down to the ground. I'll do some of that this year. I also tie a rope from the branch to the stalk. Works for a few of them.

Van Stank - I have a couple "Mobsta" ladies (sativa hybrid) has pistils showing for 2 days now. I think they're on schedule, similar to last year. Cheers guys

I use the orange fiberglass sticks that we mark the drive for snow! They are skinny and strong...but this year I am wrapping the plants in light duty garden fence ...for the Bhutanese I'll have to double stack it

@Van Stank here are the shots of the Mandala #1...Cali Dream is pretty similar.

(sartori, DTF, mandala #1 closet to farthest)

One word, three syllables: supercrop.
They're looking fantastic!
Grow on!

Few shots from the GH 2/3:

Northern Soul, (squat) ATF, Blueberry, Sartori (closest to farthest)

White Bhutanese and Cali Dream....Cali is almost a sphere :) Cali is actually furrier than the Mandala #1

Highya BH,

Several of your ladies are stacking buds very nicely! I get a warm and fuzzy feeling every time I see my ladies stacking bud so nicely! Your White Bhutanese is going to top out on the greenhouse roof. She must be stretching? You have some very nice looking ladies there, BH. Feels so good, doesn't it?!? Cheers

I hooped the White Bhutanese and Cali Dream today....I'd been thinking on this a while and I ended up using crap I already had lying around and it worked out better than expected. I used light duty garden fencing and duct taped a hoop of 1/2 poly hose...I zip-tied the fence to the ring and strung it from the cross supports with electric fence wire. I did a cutout to reach in and grab dead leaves (on the Cali) but the Bhutanese is so big I am just able to squash and reach under.

Them things need to start blooming, gonna get cold soon!! Was like low 40s here for last couple days. Burr !!
40s? We had 55F this morning and they are saying 50F tonight...they can handle the cold...def prefer it to the heat and humidity of last summer.

We've actually had a great summer for cannabis outdoors, so far. Only a couple days real humidity, and no bud rot yet. I've only watered the ladies a couple times. But, I know the humidity is coming. We can hope for the best!! Cheers
