Maine 4-Season Greenhouse Grow

Great job Blew! I wish I could do a greenhouse down here! How long did you flower your WW girls? I just completed an indoor soil grow with them and went about 8 weeks.
:thanks:

The WW were autos and I think they ran about 100-110 days...I lost count :)

Hows your spring like so far blew? Really slow this year up here... still no leaves yet.
We are getting leaves, but nights still in the 40's and not a lot of sun. Glad I got the girls tucked in the Box in the GH for now...I sleep better.

Same here.... plus alot of northern wind. I got my girls out already but they were much bigger than yours.
I think I started my girl's just about right this year...I was battling them all last summer.

We are also getting hammered by ticks, which is always fun....

There is direct correlation between the fox population and ticks....mice are a vector and fox's preferred food, so more foxes, less ticks...which is why we loved seeing a fox and her 3x kits make their den on our property. Besides them sounding like a baby being strangled in the middle of the night, they are no nuisance at all....

Coyotes are the killers around here.
Their preferred food is rabbits...and they kill foxes...and we also have them, but only see them on the property in the winter. My neighbor drags roadkill onto the frozen pond and pick the coyotes off (legal year round) at first light (or maybe just a hair earlier ;) )...Maine alarm clock...

Wow, BH, Congratulations! I gotta hand it to you. You do have a great journal, with the cabin, grow medium with the worms, greenhouse, and homesteading stories about camping, etc. All for a fun read.

Ticks are bad this year. Already killed a dozen. I had Lyme disease a couple years ago. Not bad, for me. I know of others who are seriously affected by it, though.

Here's hoping you have a great summer, and enough time and energy to accomplish. Cheers

It was the last thing I expected...I saw the message from Teddy and my first thought was "what'd I do now!?" We do ramble and get pretty irreverent here, but let's celebrate the win for a thread that's a little off the beaten path...

Yeah, let's do that!!! :bong: :passitleft: :Rasta: :lot-o-toke: :lot-o-toke: Cheers

Made some soil today...got about 160 gallons mixed up...realizing I will have a lot of VC left over...going to start a new compost pile and just start dumping the finished VC there...just cycled the old soil back into the VC bins. Check out the chunky-ass VC brownie...looked good enough to eat! Being extra liberal with all my free granite dust doesn't make the finished product any lighter
