Lost In The Fog

Been wanting to try this Sweets coffee creamer but will cook in the slow cooker for longer. Not in the market for an instapot atm.

Made with sweetened condensed milk puts this off the radar for those watching sugar consumption. My apologies. The idea was to find a way to make it work, not make it work healthier. Maybe someone can find a way to adapt this recipe to accommodate those who can’t take the sugar load.

My cannabis-infused creamer was made with an Instant Pot pressure cooker in the Slow Cook mode, but any water bath arrangement (the jar sits in hot water, but off the floor of the pot) will work as well. Many of us have purchased IPs for oil infusions, so this seemed a natural.

Keep your water at a simmer. Avoid temperatures high enough for boiling and your milk won’t scorch.

Equipment and supplies:
* Instant Pot (or saucepan set up for water bath)
* Jar to hold milk and buds
* Dried and cured cannabis buds
* Sweetened condensed milk
* Straining cloth and mesh strainer (for support)
* Container to strain into
* Storage jars

The ratio of buds to milk is entirely up to personal choice, as is the type of buds chosen. Sativas are a great pick-me-up with that first cup in the morning. I like my wake ‘n bake to be a stout one, so I used 5 grams of bud to one 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk. A more rational choice for many would be in the 2-3 gram range for each can of milk.

When the cycle is done you want to flip the valve open to do a quick release of the pressure. Do this carefully.

After it’s released jiggle the lid to get the button to drop. It won’t open until the button drops.

THE JAR IS HOT!

The milk should sit a little more than halfway submerged in the hot water bath.

Choose “Slow Cook”, set for “Less” and run for 3 hours. If necessary add more water to keep at least half your milk volume submerged.

Sometimes you have to improvise for straining.

Sweetened condensed milk isn’t as efficient as EVOO for extracting cannabinoids. You can count on there being more cannabinoids trapped in the plant material. These buds have been steeped in sweet milk for three hours. They can be a tasty delicacy if you appreciate the strong taste of cannabis. They can also be incorporated into some other food with a little creativity.

Store in the fridge and do your best to keep from dipping a spoon in every time you open the door to get something out. Lol! It’s effective and tastier used in a 1:1 ratio with regular coffee creamer.

May you enjoy as much as I do. This is becoming a regular feature in my personal regimen. :battingeyelashes:

DAM you MURPHY!
Effn Murphys.

I will probably go straight coconut infused oil in the slow cooker with the condensed milk added at the end.

Great stuff Kismet! I will use my ordinary slow cooker with a jar with lid which I press a wet cloth between the lid and jar. This makes it a very small but effective pressure cooking.

The last thing I need now is some nice oil so If I wasn't feeling this bad I would be out looking for one. Still pain I can hardly stand, got my new winter shoes I ordered online today. I could hardly take them on and tie the knots on them. Called my X up today and asked if she would help me to the doctor on Friday for my scheduled shots and she would if I need it. If its like today I will need that help to even get there. F-ck I so tired of feeling this way.

Now its time for a spliff and my daily hot bath, hopefully I feel better afterwards.

LOL just come over KCCO and I will make another pie! Waiting for next episode on Kodi! :)
Lmao I’m on my way. I like pie but if we cook up of slabs like this maybe we can compete with Shawn and his pans of gold.
This shit is almost on par per OZ as gold in the Canadian markets depending how it sold. Play safe Crazy

LMAO!!!!!! That shit so true! Love your big cookies, Shawn would need that med for his own back. Remember that episode when he went to chiropractor...

Got any gold bearing streams around your place? I'd love to visit Canada and pan for some actual gold and not the presumable dust that's left in our creeks and streams here.

Now this is another Crazy entertainment installation I made yesterday, can't having my old Galaxy Tab laying around and to no good use!

Have you tried it Kismet? I used the IP because I had it. The same process can be performed in any simmering water bath. You won’t need to cook any longer. The three hours is sufficient to get a thorough infusion.

Just mixing oil with the milk may work. Let me know how that goes. :hugs:

Oh, hi Sue!!! :ciao:

The Bird sold me on this oil industry, will also make some brews soon. Shed wants me to use coconut oil and I will try this, almond will also be used. Will make small batches to try the oils out, I want something magic in my coffee.
:hippy:

Funny enough I do remember when he went to the chiropractor. His back has suffered some serious wear and tear. Just sitting down to watch Gold Rush over here.

According to my math HP should be ready today but I think I will let her go yet some time. I'm in no hurry to get the room but running low on smokable meds. I would have needed more GG, dam that weed tasted nice after proper curing +6-8 months.

Btw, note- my math have been known to be wrong....

Managed to get to my physio therapeutic meeting today on my own machine. Pain is substantially better today and I'm high hope to be able to get my shots tomorrow. Wasn't a very nice meeting though, I'm quite upset about my hole situation and having to let them dictate my needs for help. Everything is in limbo right now. Work, life, dreams and my health... What's keeping everything in halt right now is my remittance to the pain clinic, its waiting line for up to 6 months there but I have been in line for 2-3 months now already so hopefully before Xmas. That's my hope any way. But it feels like keeping a normal life/work for me is less and less probable.

But I feel better today and that's what counts, spotted a smaller solid oak table today at a flee market which was discarded from a store for some reason for 12$. Been looking for one to restore my globe I got my living room, the ring round the globe is plastic and my hope is to make a new ring of the oak table and a new foot for everything. Problem, getting it from the store...

Pushing out new pistils but starting to lose the sugar leaves. Get a loupe on the older buds and see what you can see!

How many volts is that DeWalt? I need a new cordless drill but never know what power to get.

Problem, getting it from the store.
On top of your head of course! Great for the neck ;).

I hope you can get your medical life straightened out by Christmas...that would be the best present of all!

Tried but very hard to see I've had to be rough with her against the trips so much of trics are flattened but mostly cloudy of what I could tell. It might be shopped this weekend haven't decided yet. :)

How many volts is that DeWalt?

This one is 18V I think these are better than the 14V they also are selling. Its the XR battery series DeWalt got, fits my pendel saw as well. But get one of those newer with brush less motor, then it will last you a lifetime. Mine is almost worn out now and I hate being have to take it apart.........

I hope you can get your medical life straightened out by Christmas...that would be the best present of all!

Yeah that would be the best ever present. I try seeing the brightness in my life but maybe 70% is veeery cloudy. But I'm glad I can do what I do anyway the other part of it, I have learned to live with it. Just need to get the doctors to get it as well. I always find I way to crawl out.

Hope your surgery goes fine tomorrow, I'm sure of it! You got missis Shed to take care of u after wards ;)

Here comes my first try working with Coco oil in an attempt to make an infusion. I really hope this will be great with coffee, my first concern with this "oil" is that as I suspected aint runny in room temp but I think that spooning it and stirring it down in coffee will be a success! Love Coco in both candy and rum, so this will probably be a perfect match with my dark nutty coffee. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I started with preheating the oil to a more runny state for adding my solids in.

The solids consists of various trims and buds from plants that was more or less a failure from this summer. Strains consist of Both Kush and Widow, some sugar trim leafs from HP and even some from Orinoco. In total 11g before decarbing and 10g after 40min 110C. I have no idea if this will be a weak or strong infusion with 250ml of Coconut oil.

I'm of course wearing my official statement shirt for good luck! :yahoo:

I cut out a cloth from an old shirt which I moist up with tap water and use as a gasket for the lid, it will generate some pressure and speed up the process some.

No funny business here or wabbits in hats just an ordinary slow cooker/crockpot. Will let it sit in this for at least 12h now. Just remember to keep filling in water in the pot so it wont run dry! CRACK

About crack or meth.... I found out the cheapest and safest way to make it! The reaction in Greta have been so great this came out when I shut her down for the last time.

@RETRIX I know you love this stuff!!! ;)

It's actually sodium carbonate, no idea how it managed to crystallize instead of becoming water and Co2 but under this test period I have used up 1,4kg of each citric acid and the bicarbonate. :cheesygrinsmiley:
