Have an electric question to any one better than me. Did a check on my drivers tonight. Measured in the drivers for the osram strips they take 300ma. That went well, and I thought for fun take a measure on the driver for the chilleds. Put the multimeter in series on the + end off the driver and it shut off, failsafe. Have two chilleds in parallel on it, those are rated 2100ma a piece so they can handel 4200ma then in parallel. The driver is just rated 3900ma. So its no chance I can toast them with this driver I know but why do the driver go in failsafe? Is it because the chilleds are in parallel and I have to measure in parallel too or is it that its maxed out?

Interesting.....I haven't a clue....the meter shouldn't have induced enough resistance to put the driver into failsafe, but may have.....

Update, the ladies are recovering nicely after the mishap. Tomorrow or Friday my missing led should come.

A little update.
This is miss 4/20. She has fully recovered now from the overdose and really fattening up her buds. It's great when you can tell the difference from the other day. I'm really impressed with the lights now.
