Lost In The Fog

I really should save up for better lights. What I have is working, but I’m not getting the bud weight and trichomes I probably could with better lights.

I can see you have a talent in growing and processing the outcome. So, yes you could definitely benefit with better light! But it comes at a price to... I'm not ready to ad up all the leds and drivers cost me yet but it's close to 1k$ now I think... But the most is of course this f-king double tax when you import stuff... could probably done it by half the price with Cree's or Vero's chips bought here but whats the fun in that. Now I got something genuinely created for growing by growers.:surf:

I don't regret this upgrade. It's lots of benefits from the hps a was using before. The most significant is the even spread of light and the heat witch was drying upp both the plants and the soil and stressing them out. And now being able to se the benefits on the electric bill is even more boosting. :yahoo:

So if you are considering it, go for it! :thumb:

Weekly update! Chopped down the last 6040 cob light plant so now its only chilled grow. Made a bench of wood today to get the plants up from the floor now its possible to fit 8 of these pots I got. Going to replant 2 tonight and throw in. Got som rusty spots on the leaves on one of the plants. Saw the same spots on the last i chopped to. Is this sign of cal/mag issue?

Lol what’s the ppm? Do you check it going out? Only other thing could be phosphorous def if the plant is locked out and not getting the P it needs? Hard to tell without digging right in there. Rust spots show on old growth means P def and if it’s on new stuff then I’d say Calmag def

Ok, did my best without having to bring half of them out... All the pictures are take from the same plant.

I maybe on a hunch that it can be the Canna pk 13/14. I don't know the age of that. It's been sitting in the cabinet for how many grows I don't know. The cal/mag is on its way and just water tomorrow.

I'm missing everything.....but looks like you have it going on.... :thumb:

That doesn't look like a problem that cal/mag can't fix. As others said, some plants definately get better with cal/mag through all bloom era. I am using 1ml/l of cal/mag on all my plants in flowering period. Since I use a lot of nutrients, I try to lower the ratio and add cal/mag for safety. Another great thing that you can do is flush. I do 1 flush in vegetation and do 3 in flowering. It will be great for your plants if you take care of these defects on them. Good job on this grow btw they look nice and strong. I bet they will taste like sweet pine and slam your head hard :cough:

Thx guys! I really hope this does the trick. I try to flush them once a week but since the time home gets less and less now over the summer you lose track of the individual stages they are in.

Plants still soaked since the last watering so will wait until tomorrow for flush. The affected one has some more spots but this was as I suspected. Hopefully I will get some cal/mag and maybe drivers tomorrow. My chilled seems to be held at customs for some reasons. Wouldn't be surprised if they call and say... - "Hey, you can grow dope with this light. It will be sent for destruction. "
