Yeah I love them, them being square makes it easy to handle them inside a square tent.
Yes had issues with this since I started using them but I guess its impossible to get around the way they work. Next step is dwc and that makes them very hard to move in and out of the tent for me. So I guess I'm left with discharging about 4L of nute mix every time I empty all trays and clean them and change their socks. I could shut the flow of one cycle ahead and let them drink everything up but then they probably would take up more salt. Endless cycle always looking for that luminosity eter ...

I'm wondering why you cut all the lower nodes on the GG? I would think you could have left at least another two.

They had been breeding ground for the Thrips so I felt they were just going to eat energy and not produce. But I know you would have tried at least making clones of them.
She will make me happy either way now.The flue is getting worse... tomorrow its shots time again, hope I can get some good cough syrup from her.
I would recommend clay pebbles and hydro nutes with these pots, I tried running them with soil with worse results than now. The Airdomes come as an add on but I would say they are a necessity, if you run with soil the capillarity will saturate the soil and suffocate the plant. You can of course mix in both perlite and pebbles but as I said I tried these mixes and I feel the way I run it now like a hydro it works best for me.

Soon days will be longer again, on Sunday 22 Dec we celebrate Winter Solstice even the early stooners
understood its meaning and erected wonders of the world in its glory.
Still sick with the flue but I hope this is the last day with fever still got some stuff done so I'm happy.
the scissor and trimmed away some, its getting very tight against both GGs in tent.
Stem is very thick and sturdy as on Kali's, seems like one of the
tops have gotten the upper hand and grown taller than the other.
I know some of you think I'm harsh when trimming them but its a necessity if to have all in bloom at the same time.
The air must be able to circulate, light must penetrate, no shading of thy neighbor either...
Fat trunks on the Skunk! Looks like a double wide in that second pic.
I'm guessing the reason you take off those nodes if more about keeping them close to the perimeter of the pot than light penetration. By the time you're done thinning the light and air would have no trouble getting down to the lowers if you left another couple of nodes. Width would become a problem though.

That's right they got nowhere to go, need a bigger tent... see if I will ask Santa for a bigger closet for a bigger tent.

Just to give an idea of how tight it gets between them and there is still one plant missing to fill this corner up completely. They seem to do best with just 4-6 tops per plant, Sativas is almost impossible to grow with this configuration.

Crazy is still sick with the flue, still don't know if I will visit my loved ones today because of this.
Youngest Gg got overhauled after she started to show hairs, actually took some cuttings from her but I couldn't find the airstone for the cloner so I tossed them.

This is Super Skunk only a few days since trimming and she is building those buds nice now.
It seems like Ikaros have resulted in thicker stems on all plants,
amazing what right temperature can do for them.
Baby Jesus decided to make the show.
Big girl Kali's keeps growing, this is a possible new record with Autopots.
Girls got new dry socks on their feet again I think this gets the salt level down and this is visible on oldest Gg she would have even more burnt leafs by now in other case.

Yeah that Kali took me by surprise, the breeder stated she developed tall buds but I was like yeah I grown a few big bud strains but nothing like this. Lol
Will be a glory moment when she hits the scale! Maybe my super sluice pan won't be big enough...
Feel the same way but I guess it gives us a moment to rest up and reflect on stuff on hold for the spring. But it sure feels a long way to go still...
Looked at the shoots on my lilac bush the other day in the summer house and they are already green just waiting for the right moment to open up and start all over again. Pretty cool with those green shoots in the middle of the winter

Love being in tune with mother nature and all she has to offer. Here i can time the first hairs on outdoor plants within a week of when I find the first salmon in the rivers to spawn.
