Lost In The Fog

How you make your balls CraZy? Share the magic with us heathens?

Ok here we go!

Classic Swedish Meatballs, CraZy way.

full

  • 1 1/2 dl of flour
  • 5 tbl sp bread crumbs
  • 500g ground meat, beef or mixed with pork. (can use Älg (moose))
  • 1 egg
  • a pinch of salt, pepper and sugar ( bacon can be used for more taste, just cut the bacon up and add in the dough)
The secret here is not to mix everything at the same time, mix flour and bread crumbs first and let sit for 10min before adding the rest. The hard part is of course to make the balls but moist hands with water a few times during the ball rolling and this will keep the dough from sticking to your hands. Then just fry them in the pan and serve them with Lingon Berry Jam! :)

Now make a batch for Xmas Kismet, I'm sure your mother would love them. :)

Sweet! Thanks CraZ! What does the dl in the dl of flour stand for? They look delicious brother , my mouth is watering! Funny, here Swedish meatballs call for ground cloves I think. I made them years ago from a recipe on the net. Your balls look tasty CraZ!:cheesygrinsmiley:

Tell me about the berries please. We have sweetened cranberries for a condiment that resembles that. They look good too!

Sweet! Thanks CraZ! What does the dl in the dl of flour stand for?

This is metric Deciliter so 1dL is 100mL

Google said this about it.
1 US tablespoon = 0.147867648 dl, if this will help you more maybe.

Tell me about the berries please.

The berries are Lingon, I don't know if they grow wild in the States or Canada but these are a must when eating meatballs. :) You should be able to find them somewhere, they are cooked to a jam and used with all kinds of ground meat dishes here. So look for Lingon Berry Jam.

Hope you find them, if you ever try it you must give me a report. :)

I told you they looked like cranberries. I found this.Image result for Lingonberry

Lingonberries are small, red berries that taste similar to cranberries but are not quite as tart. They grow on a small evergreen shrub — Vaccinium vitis-idaea — that is native to the Scandinavian region of northern Europe.Jan 14, 2019

Ok I found a decypherer. 1 dl = .4 cups or thereabouts. That works for me.

I told you they looked like cranberries.

Yeah that's probably right. I'm not too familiar with cranberries, I had them I'm sure of it but I think they are a little sweeter in taste than Lingon. I will send you a pack of Lingon in Xmas present if you can't find them and absolutely want to try them. :)

Had no idea they only grew here in Scandinavia.

Timber!!!
Decided to go ahead with chopping Cheese this weekend, I'm going for nerve mapping next friday so I have no idea of what shape I will be in after that. But I think she was mature by now any way.

Will do a new run of Spliff B and continue to plow through MMJG's gene bank with Nightingale next.
I need to get another 2 sets of Autopot trays with pots to be able to push more plants in both veg and bloom.

She is growing her tall bud stems, I have lowered her another 4"/10cm she seems to appreciate this, without Ikaros this would all have been burnt by now. Looks like she will yield massively if this growth continue.

Here is Gg and her new sisters Super Skunk at the top and another baby Gg at the bottom. Skunk haven't showed any gender still so she is a late bloomer, want to give her a haircut but I don't do this until she shows her pistils.

Been a little off again but moms had a revisit at the hospital again with the ambulance, stomach again but she is already home. I'm going for my ENeG scanning this Friday, hope everything goes... and I was back at work drinking coffee yesterday. Hope I can pull myself together and get back soon, miss the place.... :laughtwo:

Congrats on being back at work!

Sorry to hear about your mom again. They really need to figure out what to do to fix what she has or your national health will be broke soon  . For other reasons as well of course!

Nice Cheese harvest...glad it was half a world away :ciao:

Nerve mapping? Pics or it didn't happen.

Yeah work was real nice, seems everything is square with my boss and my co-workers so that's good. Got another disturbing thing going on with the car salesman, he was going to repay my old mortgage on the volvo but something is jamming the transfer of money. I don't know if he is pulling something but I soon need to report this to the government the last of December the bank wants like 3k$... Giving him this week but on Monday I'm calling...:nervous-guy:

yeah the healthcare is total bust over here, you need to be more than well to be able to get help. She had told the doctors that if they can't fix this they need to put a bag on her stomach. Lets hope that wont happen but one gets worried...

Nerve wrecking I would say, they are so jolted over here with running electricity trough people for many reasons... I got this Tens thing at home to use with my neck pain but I don't see it working like they think. This procedure at Friday is simillar but with lower voltage and amps, they put in a current and meassure how long it takes for the muscle to react. Interesting indeed, will try taking some pics at the ratings on the machine... :laughtwo:

I will definitely give your recipe a whirl for the holiday CraZy. What about the sauce though? Shouldn't there be a sour cream mustard sauce somewhere? Do find Lingonberry jam here now at one of our local grocers. I do like both Cranberry sauce but prefer Lingons because they are more tart yum. Hope they fix your mom up so she can enjoy the season with you guys. Congratulations on the Cheese harvest and glad to hear you are back to work my friend. Girls are looking like they are loving Ikaros!

Did i miss the turbo dryer build or was i just high?

Lol Kismet, its not that intricate as it sounds. Its just a box to hold some oven plates, it sits in my veg tent which is well ventilated. You are most certainly high all the time on that pollen. :) Scraped up some myself yesterday, been saving branches and leafs from when I grind the weed. Kept it in the fridge so the pollen falls of, just sifted it off now and I probably saved almost 5 grams of pollen from going to waste. I was initially thinking of using it in oil cooking but I haven't had time for it.

Cheese came down to 94g on the scale! Very satisfied, it smells even stronger than I could remember it. Is it any one else that thinks it smells like a perfume? The high is soo intricate from her and a real brain fuel.

Other news is I'm officially nominated to MOTM Dec, and that's thanx to you Kismet. :) :green_heart:

...Santa's little helper have been busy this weekend...

Might need to recruit trimmers for this harvest :p

I'm hunting for the cause of my leaf tip burns on the plants in later stage of bloom. It seems to show after about 5-6 weeks in bloom and I think its symptoms of Potassium def. but whats the real problem is the salt build up in the trays which the pots sit in. I'm cleaning the trays once a week while I have the plants outside and spray them, so the feeding is new when the plants get back in there.

This time I changed the root restricting "socks" with clean ones, these are supplied with the pots and keeps the roots from growing out in the tray and get entangled in the valves and malfunction.

Have been much salt build up in these when I clean them after harvested plants so hopefully this will help from buildups like that. I think its a little overkill to let the pots sit in clean water while I clean the trays but that will probably be next step in getting down with this.
Crazy Out! :blunt:
