Lombriga's First Grow: Auto Brooklyn Sunrise From DP, Organic Soil, 110W COB, 2x2 Tent

Sure thing. The plants look good but they will need to be fed. I hate to burst your bubble but if that is the bag you are using it's the Starter kit. Note the checkbox in the lower left corner. Here's some info on it from their website. Also note in the below image it says you need to add ferts.

If you were planning on using the Automatic then you still need to add ferts after two months.

So there may even be more to know then that but you should check out their website.
yes I'm using tropikali automatic on the bottom + tropikali starter on the top. But i've trusted the "0,8L per week of life" of the automatic and put 15L to be safe. And the plant isnt even 1 month old yet.

OK gotcha. Just be aware that she does appear to be starting a def and it aligns with Mg based on the timing. So hopefully she'll dig down deep and find those nutes soon. Nice job on the plants.

so as i feared the yellow spots worsened and a rusty tip showed up too. other leaf displayed a rusty tip too, and the remaining first node leaf is looking all weird with light green spots, curled down and weird texture. is all of these just mag def really?
Yes, the plant is about a month old when Mg def will start to show. The lowest leaves are affected first then it moves up the plant if not addressed.
yeah im going to fix that i just want to be sure if thats the only issue really
That's the only thing I noticed. She looks great.

thanks a lot man, i was really worried to fuck up gonna buy some calmag right now

You're not going to screw up. Calmag is something almost all growers have on hand. Since you're doing an organic grow you may want to look up alternatives to calmag. If not, calmag will get you back where you need to be.

i dont really care if its 100% organic or not, i just dont want to deal with pH and EC. maybe those epsom salts will do?

day 22. did some more lst on the plant and the side branches are growing fast

but the problem with the spots and burned leaf tips continues. did a foliar epsom salt spray at 6,5 pH and1 teaspoon per gallon concentration yesterday but nothing happened.
today was her watering day, so I watered with a 6,5 pH 2l solution with the same concentration of the epsom salts and 5ml biobizz algamic that theoretically is supposed to help with deficiencies, hope that works.

this looks like overfert but i think thats very unlikely since im using a relatively light organic soil and didnt use any strong fertilizers

these brown dots showed up today

to me the plant is not looking very happy overall
the leaves had a nice dark, lush green. now shes not pale yet but not the same as before.
and the leaves are most of the time pointing down, both before and after watering. dont think its overwater since i only water when the first couple inches are bone dry and the pot is feather light. dont think its underwater either since the leaves still points down after watering

im starting to get really worried

I don't know too much about your setup but there's several factors that may be related. RH, temps, light height, root bound etc.

Are you watering to runoff? How do you know it's wet down at the bottom? How big are the pots and how much water are you giving them? Frequency as well.

RH and temps seem right to me, always between 50-55% and 71-77F. light is at 16 inches, no signs of light burn. root bound is improbable too, the pot is 20l and made of fabric.
im watering mostly based on this thread The Proper Way To Water A Potted Plant
I dont have an exact way to know how wet is down there but i lift the pot everyday and only water when it is really light. last time took 9 days for the pot to dry this time took 6 days.
I water till I see the first runoff drop, probably less than 1% of the pots volume. right now takes about 3L to completely saturate the pot

If it's on the bottom leaves, yes. If it's on the middle to upper leaves then it's Ca. Calmag takes care of both but

if that's supposed to take care of it then I wouldn't be adding too many other things.
its on the bottom mostly but only a couple leaves. a single middle leaf showed the brown spots today. probably gonna have to get calmag then, its quite expensive here but it will be the best cure i guess

OK that sounds good.

In this case yes. The plants will also respond better if they are lacking nutes.
a grower friend of mine said a slight defol could help her get more O2 do u think its worth trying?
Never heard of it before. Adding O2 won't correct a def of Mg however.
