You can listen to this man!! He knows his shit!!!Okay let me break this down for you the reason you're seeing all these options with this is you have to pay attention to all the options some people are running soil some people are running cocoa some people are running mediums some are running Hydroponics some people are running peat moss each one has its own options with soil you need to check the runoff at times to check for salt lock does not needed to be done nowhere near as often with cocoa or Hydroponics because these contain no nutrients the only nutrients there are the ones that I give it but for so the bacteria breaks down the plant material making more nutrients plus what you were giving it this can sometimes lead up to salt lock ask for Coco it has its differences to every time I water I wash out my old nutrients this helps it from building up hydroponic systems you can get salt buildup on the walls which turns to a slime so basically what I am saying is when you take information from people you need to make sure it is directly towards what you are doing even if you have to ask them I hope this helps a little bit more
If u dont ph every watering!!!!I mix up my nutes when feeding the plants and then PH balance it to as close to 6.5 as I can get it without going under. I have well water that naturally has a PH of 7.4 For me balancing the PH is a very key step to happy and healthy plants and since it only takes a moment I do it every time I feed them or just water them.
See there's so many opinions...I've heard to water til 10 percent runoff...heard not to have much runoff...heard to test runoff and not to test runoff...heard to water just a lil everyday...so idk I write all this stuff down and then try to see what works for the plants
As I increase my ppm in flower my ph drops. If I didn't ph I'd be feeding them in the low 5 range. I'm in spoil. It isn't a big deal to test and adjust ph. Once used to it, it's just a part of the process.
