Hey Skunk man!! How are the black tips doing? I had some extra time yesterday so I did a little research on that problem. The thing that came up most of the time were root problems. Mostly from over watering. The second thing that came up was either root bound with bad drainage Don't know for sure because I have not had this particular problem but I can tell ya your not alone. I went through a pile of cases and these were the reasons for other's.Thanx man...I know she not 100% healthy but hopefully the new nutes and mix I was told about will get her on track...anyone heard of flushing before going to bloom nutes?
You may be keeping your plants to damp. It seems like they like it when the top inch or so stays little damp. It will make it harder for them if the top gets dry in between watering. Also been oil sprayed on the soil will kill them. BUT never spray on buds, it will make them taste weird. Yellow sticker strips will get the flying ones. You could also try peroxide 3%. One part peroxide 4 parts water.I'm having an extreme fungus gnat problem atm.
That should be neem oil... Darn spell check!!!!You may be keeping your plants to damp. It seems like they like it when the top inch or so stays little damp. Hope this helps.

My plants are sitting at 78-79 and have no problems but have a fan moving lots of air around, so like iamhigh said you should have no problem from that as long as your moving air. My temp was taken at the tops of the plants with cardboard cover for shade.I hope to be in that group soon...well after about 7 hours the temp in new room is hovering low 80s...hope to drop that with new intake fan
I have heard of some people having problems with the sand thing, some times they bring in new bugs and depending on what the sand is made up of it can play havoc with the pH. I have never used sand so I'm not speaking from experience but have read about it a few times. Just something to think about. But you are right on about the flora in the soil! Sorry for not listing that in my post. But that is spot-on you will have to build that back up if you use peroxide.Pick up a bag of white playground sand at Lowes, Home Depot, or Wal-Mart and put about an inch on top of your soil. Then flush your plant with 3% H2O2 at a ratio of 15ml to 1 gallon of water. If you're growing in soil you will need to replenish the beneficial bacteria as the H2O2 will do a number on it in soil. Put up some sticky papers around the plants. Those three things will help get rid of a lot of them.
