LMAO Cloning For Dummies

Man as I said before, the only stupid question is the one not asked. You may be right but I would definitely try to confirm that info before you try to get a 1000watter for it. There are many things out today that I don't have a clue about. It took me almost a month to decide what ferts to go with because there is soooo much of it out there to look at. And until this year I would not even walk past a hydro shop because I was paranoid who may be watching. So the first time I did go in I just about shit myself! All the things I could not even imagine were right there in front of me! I want it allllllll!!!!! But I am trying to live a champagne grow on a beer budget!! lol it will all come together in time my friend! Stay positive!
OK I gota tip over for a few hours. I got a weeks worth of work to do tomorrow! Everyone be safe out there.

Hey Skunk, I was always told to use something like a rubber glove when removing or replacing those bulbs. Something about finger oils could make them burn out sooner. Can anyone confirm or debunk this?

Used to change spotlight bulbs in a small theater, they were a hundred or more bucks a bulb. Never touch them the skin oils make a hot spot and will have negative results.

Being in the unknown part of the when to harvest phase I have been doin a lot of research and have chosen to harvest when the trics turn milky and I am just beginning to see hints of amber. I read the level of thc is highest in the milky stage and begins to degrade as the trics turn amber. Lots of info out there and here as well to digest so I chose the answer that made the most sence to me. A ripe apple is ripe and is best at this stage. An overripe apple is not as good as a ripe apple and has been allowed to mature too long. The first of my girls is hangin to cure.

My wife is about to gag it smells so strong in the house my next grow will be in a dedicated grow room seperate from the house.

It is the water in the oil in your hands that causes the light to explode after it reaches its Max temperature because a fingerprint does not dissipate it stays there in heats up until combustion which blows out the light never handled high pressure sodium bulbs by hand always use a rag or a paper towel and clean them every so often they get dirty quick and they lose their light every 9 months after 9 months of running a high pressure sodium you should replace the light you can get a hundred 50 watt replacement bulb for cheaper than $7

You could run the thousand watt ballast but it would be a waste of power considering yours have ballast built in there are different bulbs that you can buy some better than the others some brighter longer-lasting

Yea not a lot of brand options I found for 150w ...I'll just buy one and see...so are you saying I could run say a 250w bulb in this unit?

I cringed when I saw that you were buying those 150w lights. I am not a big proponent of buying anything electric or gas powered that is used. You just don't know what it's been through in its lifetime. I thought for sure you would have gone with a 1000w LED. Low power consumption, low heat producer, and they're getting less expensive all the time AND of better quality I'm told.

Yea was a good deal and I'm just getting what I can when I can...I just can't afford some of the lights that's out there right now...I will upgrade over time....maybe by time the clones are ready to flower I will have better light

I just wanted to share some updated pics I just took. Mom's at least I think they are.

and "delayed" clones. Keeping a close eye and trying to find a happy medium for light/heat. I think that's been the problem? They were under a 23w cfl about 3-4" away. Now it's about 9"
